You're welcome. We log on at different times due to different time zones. So dont make too much out of seemingly late reactions. It might just be due to such circumstances.
I dont see any reason to take such sick remarks as an occasion to lament about other issues.
The remark by that person was plain racist, wrong, and totally unacceptable (at least to me).
It has not been deleted which is disturbing to me.

I'm from India, Indians are racist also and i would say Asians are too, but the thing is, they have learned to move on to the next thing, once they know you, they get better and drop the stereotype. The experience in Asia with regards to skin never gets worse only gets better...and im saying this with my personal experience..if you read my old posts.

The only place I've been in the world where I never ran into racism was sub-Saharan Africa, where I worked in 14 countries and never once experienced it even by innuendo.

Like many others here, I've been using DIA and have had contact with hundreds of girls and not one has shown any real romantic interest (I'm not bad looking). if what you mean by "true love" is a long term relationship leading to marriage then you are very much wrong, that is probably what 80%+ of the girls on DIA are looking for as a first priority. The problem from their perspective is that 90% of the guys on DIA have no intention of ever setting foot in the Phils, though they may daydream of doing so. Girls can easily spend 20-50P a day at the net cafe chatting to chatmates from overseas. Girls not working in the sex industry will typically be living on about 200P a day so we are talking a significant part of their daily income. Yet there are many guys more than wiling to string the girls along so that they can masterbate when they get home from work - or if they work for the government , most likely at the office.

If by "true love" you are talking about some sort of conception of romantic love a la 1950s Audrey Hepburn movies, then you just have to get realistic. a 19 year old Phillipina is never going to really have such romantic feelings towards a 55 year old white guy with whom she has almost nothing ion common. She may pretend to do so and many foreign guys i have come across love to believe this pretense and are shocked if a girl is honest with them. Such fantasies are very dangerous for foreign guys - it's how such guys get fleeced. That's not to say that you cant have a meaningful relationship between a 19 year old pinay and a 55 year old white guy, that may well develop into real feelings of mutual affection and care. It's just going to be different from the type of romantic relationship between her and say a 25 year old Pinoy.

if you want to try and build a long term relationship with the girl on line then unless she is unusually wealthy or has other means of support, you may need to offer to subsidise her internet time.

Personally I am very skeptical that you can meaningfully get to know a young Philipina online and think that guys who try to do this before actually coming to the Phils are really fooling themselves/killing lonely hours. For once I disagree with GE. I suspect that the reason he did not experience racism in Sub Saharan Africa is that he is (I presume) white. By and large whites are treated as VIPs in sub Saharan Africa - ( at least to their faces) . As a white guy if I thumb a lift in say Zambia i would get picked up almost immediately (generally by black drivers) if i were black i'd have to wait for quite a while for a lift.

Exactly right GL.
I live in the Phils and all the "friends" I have on DIA are keen to keep in touch with me because I am actually IN THE PHILS. So many of them talk about bullshitters who are overseas and say they are coming to meet them but never do. These guys get their jollies from talking to some pretty, sexy, young woman on the internet knowing full well that they cannot do the same thing with girls in person either in their own country or probably not anywhere else either. The girls are getting savvy about that too.
I agree too that you MUST meet then in person before you start thinking she is a perfect match.

I know this is an inappropriate discussion for this forum, but I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I met lots of African Americans while I was living in Africa, and they got treated the same way that I did.

Yes black Americans will generally be treated as "honorary whites". But I was knocking around with quite a few local Africans and in my mind there is no question that they are treated as second class citizens. Of course that's to a large extent a mater of econo0mics. being white In Africa is a proxy for being rich even if you happen to be relatively poor. To bring the question back towards mongering ask yourself this if a white girl was to sell her body in say Nairobi do you think she would get the same rate as an equivalently good looking black girl? When i was in Nairobi even a relatively fair skinned Ethiopian girl could get a good premium over local black girl, a European girl would gte significant premium for sure

You're undoubtedly correct, but in such cases, that's a question I think less of racism and more of supply and demand. Men want to try that with which they are unaccustomed; in the case of black Africans, that may mean white women. In the case of white westerners, that could well mean black African women. I doubt, for example, that for experienced white members of this community, a white woman in SE Asia, for example, would bring any premium at all, and the same is probably true for white guys who monger in Africa.

Here in the Philippines, I've not noticed that light skinned Filipinas are particularly more sought after by white guys. To the contrary. It may be that the darker skinned morenas have the advantage because the white guys consider them more "exotic."

At the end of the day, each of us judges the world mostly through the prism of his/her own experience. My comments about the lack of racism I saw in Africa were based on my own experience.
