I read all the directions posted to this place in BP but cannot figure out on Google maps which turn to take on Laxmi road. Can someone kindly PM me with the exact intersection on Laxmi Road or a significant landmark on Laxmi road that will lead me to this great 4 story building? It almost sounds like the Orchard Towers of Pune.

Thanks to all the posters for keeping this forum alive.

Previous posters have done a great job of providing directions to the so called "Disco" building. There are multiple ways to get to this building:

1. Route #1 :

- Stand facing the city post office on Laxmi road and enter the lane to the left of the post office (Note: there are a few shoe stalls at the begining of this lane)

- Walk to the end of the lane and turn left at the T-junction.

- Walk to the end of this lane and turn right at the T-junction.

- At this point, you will end up in front of a restaurant named "Food Plaza". It is located on the ground floor of a big building.

- The building with the NE / Bong chicks is immediately after the "Food Plaza" building (Note: to the right, when you are facing Food Plaza)

- Note that if you go past this building for about 50 meters or so, you will end up at an intersection where the Shukrawar Peth police station is located.

2. Route #2 :

- Stand facing the city post office on Laxmi road and then start walking on Laxmi road towards the left (Note: you will be going against the traffic)

- Go past the 2 "Bata" shoe stores (note: they are on the left side of the road)

- After you cross the second Bata shoe store, take a right at the next traffic signal.

- Look out for a restaurant named "Food Plaza" on the left side of the road. For further directions from this point, refer to Route #1.

I could probably enumerate a couple of more ways to get there, but the above two are probably the simplest routes. Although I have walked past this building a couple times over the last two days, I have not ventured inside as yet. Will report back as soon as I do.

I am assuming everyone can get to the starting point mentioned in both the above routes. If not, let me know and I will galdly help out.

By the way, I walked past it at around 4pm today and it appeared crowded with a lot of guys going up and down the stairs.

IMHO, the BP area has been functioning right under LE's noses for a very long time and hence nobody should be worried about outing any location in there.

I am new to this website, however not new to mongering.

I browsed this thread the whole night yesterday and found lot of interesting and new stuff. However, found information is mostly repeated, so thought to open up this question around MPs in Pune.

I have been to a couple in Kothrud (Near Hotl K*nara) and Viman Nagar Area. The service is been good and relaxing at both places.

It would be good if we could build over this information for other areas as well.

The turn for the lane with the tall building next to Food Plaza restaurant is BEFORE the 2 Bata stores. There is a shoe store with a name beginning with "City" right at one of the corners of the intersection.

Route 1 in the same post is very accurate and easier to follow.
