Well in reality Austria, which more or less has the same population as CH, has half the positive cases! But this disaster in Switzerland is due to many many workers who come in daily from France, Germany and Italy hence the high numbers vs Austria, which has not daily workers coming from abroad almost at all.

Maybe you have not checked statistics so well, in % Switzerland has more people affected than Italy (which is 7 x bigger population) so it's scary. Big difference is the number of deaths, which is way lower in CH than say Spain and Italy, in % obviously. And regarding dis I agree witchu.

Geneva, Basel are heavily dependent on people who live across the border and commute to Switzerland to work including people in the health sector. Switzerland can't afford to close the borders. After the initial fuck up in Ischgl, Austria seems to have done things right.

You are right, the number of infections is not so important. Looking at the death rate, Austria and Germany have done really well, Switzerland is somewhere in the middle, then come France, Belgium, Netherlands with pretty bad numbers and of course by far the worst numbers are in Spain and Italy.
