Other than information about places being closed and reopened, all the basics have been covered many times. It's Sosua, the basic assumption is that if you go there, you're going to get laid. How many times doesn't matter, because everyone is different.

Hotel, restaurant and club information has all been posted before, thanks to Camaro and others, along with basic prices. What more does anyone need?

Why not just close the topic to all posts except for newbie questions, and have admin reply to all newbie questions with RTFF?

The reason is, no matter how dysfunctional, this is a community, and even though some of the neighbors are disagreeable, sometimes they have something worthwhile to contribute.

It also takes patience. Chances are it will take a few encounters and plenty of conversation to get the first date, and it might take a few dates, to get what you want, depending on how well you play the game.

I would guess that Mr. E spends as much or more for each nut as you do, he's just paying it in different ways, dinner drinks, a little gift, gas, phone, travel, better hotel, etc.

I saw one that looks nice. I went to Chez Montreal, home of the Big Nac for a couple of beers. I walked the main street and around several times. However, I find almost all other posts helpful, discussions about food, drink, banking, weather, attendance at clubs, transportation, accomodation, political activities, accidents on minibuses, views of chicas, attitudes of chicas, service of chicas, behavior of mongers in destinations, attitude of citizens in destinations towards mongers, the good old days and the plethora of other discussions that take place on this board I find helpful and interesting reading but then that's just me. However, I think a monger talking about his lovey dovey non-pro and how muchstuff she bought for him etc. To be of no value. Perhaps Admin could open up a separate thread for discussions about girlfriends.

Sometimes it's the littlest detail that is helpful to someone. I don't think anyone expects the thread to be a clinical, step-by-step Sosua mongerers manual.

But, when you start censoring posts for being about non-pros, or for just being ego boosters, it will cause more problems than it solves. It creates more work for admin and inhibits people from posting. Plus the admins are not infallible, some posts would be cut unfairly and some that should be cut would pass through. It would also require removal of Senior member privilege of unmoderated posting.

I think it's simply a matter of scrolling past what you don't like, don't agree with, or think is off-topic.

Unless someone starts posting ads for Ray-Ban sunglasses.

My plan was purchase motorcycle, tour island and get laid. Then my business went sideways and had to postpone trip for one year. So plan set for November this year 2015. One week ago I had Arthroscopic surgery on my Rotator cuff. Ouch! So now I'm afraid to ride a MC. Question: Anybody know a guy or gal that would like to use their car to drive me around the island so I can get laid in various locals? I have researched it in other countries, where the program goes like this: Provide room and board for driver plus pay for gas and paycheck. Anybody got some information on this? Thanks. Depending on how long you are planning on staying, the various bus services are a good, reasonably priced option. Metro a the Caribe run Santo Domingo to Sosua with stops in Santiago and Puerto Plata (Caribe also stops a few other places), Astrapu and Romana, and others run Santo Domingo to San Pedro de Macoris and La Romana. All have nice comfortable buses with A / see, some with toilets. There are smaller buses that also run to the smaller cities and towns.

You also can make some interesting connections on the buses, more so if you speak Spanish. Had a reasonably cute young thing try very hard to get me to get off the Astrapu bus with her, but I was focused on other plans, and I tend to be more cautious. On the Metro to Sosua met 2 interesting ex-pats that made the time go by quickly.

Taking buses, instead of having a dedicated car and driver will probably cost you an hour of travel time each trip, but it will save you quite a bit of money. It also keeps you from having to deal with the problem of the car breaking down. You might find yourself stuck paying hundreds just to get back on the road. Probably not an issue with an ex-pat driver, but definitely an issue with a Dominicano.

The hard part is finding bus information. Some of the larger companies have online schedules, but the rest, it's hard to find out much about them. One method is to get a profile on Dominican Cupid, and / or Latinamerican Cupid. Start talking with girls in the different cities you want to conquer and get the bus information from them. Also a good way to find out about local hotels, since many don't have a website and aren't listed on travel sites.

There are negative guys who put down others for having a good time. Seems they haven't been able to crack the Sosua Samba, and constantly feel ripped off. They usually hang in packs.

They can have a chilling effect on newbies, who don't want their admitted newbie mistakes thrown up in their faces, sometimes years later.

There's also the guys who claim to get all the pussy they want for free, but mysteriously hang out in Sosua, Thailand, Columbia, and Rio. They even hang out on this board devoted to P4 P and they are quick to correct you if you post the wrong puta prices. :) It costs serious money to make frequent trips to these third world brothels, so having a girlfriend in all these places at the same time aint cheap, but you give a little gift for services rendered and they're all over you, telling you how stupid you are.

Then there are the James Bond wannabes with private "intel", that keep their "secret" spots secret, but can't resist coming on a public board to tease the regular punters.

There are those who are so inconsistent they don't know which end is up. They'll attack you for something they'll be bragging about a couple days later.

Then there are the few, who are actually worth listening to, because they have useful advice to give on how to enjoy a place they have a genuine, honest affection for.

Then there are mongers like me who think it's a paradise on earth, and have a blast every visit, (as long as I give all the negative whiners a wide berth).
