I was in Sosua my very first time in the DR, in 2011. Airtickets were still cheap for POP. Anyway, hung around there for a week, also thanks to Frannie's help "in loco" and help from others on the board, Charles Pooter in particular. Went back there a couple of months later but for two days. Both these times, I had consorted with available women in Sosua, for pay of course. Subsequently stopped going to Sosua altogether. However, lately, I have gone there almost every trip to the DR, to spend a couple of days and for, please do not laugh, for food. I eat DR food while there and after a while, I miss other kinds and Sosua is a treasure trove for high quality food -genuine Italian, German, French that I can't find in my town. Women visit me there from other towns and so did not have any need to meet the locals.
I have no specific place but I spend more time in Santiago. And then, because I rent a car, I am mobile. From Monte Christi, Santiago Rodriquez, to La Vega, Bonao, San Francisco de Macoris. Try to avoid the capital because of its traffic and big city issues. As you know, you can find women anywhere there. Of course of a certain socio economic group so whatever others might say, I always pay.

Sosua Update –June 19,2015.
I still spend more time than I should in Sosua however, as time goes on it is less and less. Below I have listed some of my most recent observations for your review.
City Lights:
City Lights remains dead during most of the week however on Wednesday nights they have karaoke. The bar is set up with a stage and microphone along with a screen for the lyrics of the songs to be posted. On the night I attended there were maybe ˝ dozen people there mostly women. Despite the fact contestants sounded horrible it's worth a look.
Chez Mon Real:
Chez Mon Real remains a late night gathering spot for socializing and eating. Sometimes couples can be seen eating and freelancers can be seen standing in the area. You can sit inside, outside or grab something at the fast food window.
Rumbas:
Rumbas remains a great place to drink eat and watch chicas and is ground central for everything from the 1500 pesos chicas to the 3500 pesos chicas they can all be found in Rumbas. AS usual it is slow during the week and rocking during the weekends. *Be careful of the chicas who hang outside and never enter, some are [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord902][CodeWord902][/url] despite the fact they don't look it.
Club X:
Club X remains an alternative to Classicos however recently it has taken more of a Dominican feel. Dominican and Haitian men frequent the club because there is no admission unless there is live entertainment. Chicas are available outside but during the week mostly they gather on the outside keeping an eye on Classicos across the street.
Classicos / After One:
Classicos admission is 200 pesos and can best be enjoyed IMHO Monday through Thursday when the crowd is lighter than on the weekends. On the weekends it is a public safety hazard because there are absolutely too many people inside. On the weekends the tables around the dance floor go for 1000 pesos and the other seated areas in the club including VIP go for anywhere between 2000-3000 pesos; unlike normal clubs this DOESNOT include drinks. As usual the best of Sosua comes out to Classicos.
Yessssur Classicos is a "RIPOFF!" However your armband gets you into After One free of charge. I like the vibe of After One because it is more laid back and the monger has more leverage dealing with the chicas because it is so late. However, don't get it twisted there are still chicas that want 2500-3000 pesos ST, you just have to know how to negotiate.
Tarifas:
In short 2000 pesos is the new 1500 pesos and it is common for women to ask for 3000 pesos ST and 4000-5000 pesos for TLN. Of course the old prices can be had with regulars, stragglers and those you have built a rapport with. At the end of the day the advantage is the exchange rate of 44 DOP – 1 US.
Temporada Baja:
It is low season in Sosua and you can tell be the looks on many of the chicas faces they are disappointed. It is difficult for the chicas who stay in Sosua long term because they have daily expenses that are simply not being met during this time of year. True it is a buyer's market however some chicas are still not budging off their high end prices, however this season can be used to the mongers advantage if you know how to choose, relate and negotiate.
