I travel extensively to Philippines, Thailand, Costa Rica and Colombia- but never been to Europe. I do have a couple of general questions:

1) I will be short of time in Berlin- where can I exchange US dollars for Euros? Are the airport ATMs or exchange booths ripoffs compared to elsewhere? (It seems that airports are often terrible places to change money- in some countries they are as good as anywhere)

2) Are there any experts here on the Greifswald area- anything going on up there?

1. Black girls are very busy, probably because they are exotic to us!

2. You can see model type girls sit for 5-6 hours without anyone talking to them, while other girls with not so good looks make 4-5 customers.

3. Clara the brunette Romanian has one of the best bodies in the club, really perfect body.

But she was always in the lobby. Not once did I not see her going upstairs with someone!

4. I asked before 3-4 months if MILFs work there and the reply was yes.

Unfortunately, I did not see any MILF, not even on daytime, apart from 1-2 proMILFs, at the age of 30-32.

The one was the tall red haired Romanian Laura I think her name, that I tried and she was quite good.

The ATMs at the airport give you about the same exchange as in the city and at Artemis, although I prefer Deutsche Bank which seems to give me the best rate. Nearest ATM options from where you are staying are at Artemis (the name does come up on your statement) , on K' dam near Olivierplatz or some where in Charlottenberg.

I tried changing cash at the ICC Messe once and could not. I change near Zoo Station on K'dam, prefer the one a block west of Beate Uhse Museum etc.

There is another one a block of south of Friederichstrasse Station, on the corner.

I think that the guys who visit the clubs a lot do tend to feel a little protective of the atmosphere and even a little bit of the girls themselves We see some and hear about some of the stuff they deal with day by day and it ain't pretty.

So when someone comes on here suggesting they drop their prices at a slightest downturn of business we do tend to speak up. Hey nobody more than me would love to catch a break in the money department. But I also have to recognise that the girls do a difficult job and deserve to be fully compensated for it. If I am to receive a break it will be because I am a pleasant punter and a solid repeat customer. Not because the girl is having a difficult night.

an interesting discussion on the cut and thrust of pricing and acceptance or not of the same from dim yann, angus, akibono, et al.

i also am not adverse to ensuring that i am receiving value for money, a different transaction sometimes than the lowest price for the same. while dim yann presents some valid arguments there are in life certainly in the service provider lives other undercurrents in place that can overrule simple economics that say among other things that lower prices can lead to more business and overall more income for a seller.

if i may list a few culled from observation in a number of sp environments, not just dl fkk`s.

- we are dealing with human beings in the sp world and human beings make decisions not only based upon economics short term and long term, but also pride,"face", and in interaction with other human beings, buyers and sellers.

- sp`s have made a decision to embark on this type of employement for a number of reasons. we are not always able to put ourselves fully into their thinking fully as we have differnt backgrounds and are not personally involved in tbeir reasons and decision making. for some of us, we do get for various reasons a much closer look at the pysche of the motivations and angst of some girls. there is interplay and levels of trust that occur between some pairings of cusotmer and girls often based upoon personalities and empathy as well as the financial aspect.

- girls will make decision based upon finance primarily, it is their job after all, but also on other factors as above. who they go with, how long is in the end decided mutually by the girl and the customer, even if the calculations are unspoken they are there.

- the jungle telegraph at a club works near the speed of light. good customers (who pay, are clean, and in some cases fuck well from a girl`s perspective) are clearly noted and the info passes around the club as quickly as the customers not meeting these criteria or a trouble makers. who does anyone wish to work with a pleasant person or a miserable nut case ? the girls see the broad spectrum at an fkk:

- believe it or not, most girls capaciity for earnings per day are somewhat limited. in economic terms, it can be better for a girl to turn down approaches for less money and concentrate on fewer at full tariff. a "fu*ed out" pussy can mean less earning the next day or so as it becomes very painful and therefore again, less economic income over a several day period for an uhmmm, excessive pay day on one night.

and finally, a comment on the wilds of club / fkk life and pricing. there is a great deal of competition both economic, personal and reputation between these working girls. add in the tribal nature of nationality groups, cliques of friends and other alliances, to say nothing of say 50 women in relatively close quaters for extended periods, you have the receipe for chaos and disaster lurking in an environment such as say, artemis.

the standard fee system is simply one to protect most customers and indeed the girls from chaos and economic pricing coompetition. generally it works. you know what you should expect to get, the girls ditto. always room for cheerful upselling and to decline the same as in any area of commerce. if it becomes annoying or the basic announced services are short changed or cut then this is very unacceptable.

along the same lines, many regulars in various clubs are very much against "tipping" in cash. it follows that this tends to upset the standard charge system and lead to expectations by the providers that they should receive extra cash for every session. human nature again.

rewarding meritorious service levels and sessions in the form of either extended time or another session later in the evening at standard pricing is actually the best approach froma customer`s point of view and economically for the girl. instead of € 10 or € 20 "tip", they get a good customer rapport building and a full session fee. in economic terms, it maximises long run returns to do so on both sides.

even in a pretty well club such as artemis the undercurrents for chaos are there ready to break out if customers and management are not wary all the time. personally, i have a very limited experience in visting artemis and enjoyed the environment very much when i did. enjoyed for the most part, the girls too.

as but one example, of the above. one of the known girls, a blond who commutes on a regular schedule from a large nrw city to work at artemis, is totally fluent in english and german, was discussing a number of aspects of club life at artemis with excess who is he believes a sympathetic customer, is clean, and (modestly) a good f*k. she is popular with customers and she commented that she is asked and talked about by some other girls along the lines of " how does she (l) get customers "so easily" sometimes as talking to them for only a couple of minutes and they go off to the zimmer"? she must be charging lower prices, going bare back etc.". i hasten to add that she did neither with excess or was asked to do so. in turn she has some contempt for girls who spend their time playing the machines, chatting amongst themselves incessantly and then complain that business is bad, custoemrs aren`t interested in sex, just chatting themselves, sleeping under the stairs, enjoying the pool and sauna area etc.

bottom line, dim yann, is they are women who are living in an unreal world. they make decisions according to themselves and the level of estrogen coursing through their veins at the moment. you can`t expect them to make an economic decision as rationally as you or me or for the same reasons.

posted pricing does have economic value. reduces chaos and woe betide girls who go against the "union" or management consistently. they won`t last and after all we might visit for one or two days every so often, they have to "live there" with the other girls, up to 12 hours or more a day nearly every day of the month.

If there's a problem with getting business, I think it's up to the performers to figure out how to deal with it. I'm not suggesting like others that they drop their rates, but there is room to up their game, collectively speaking.

If I were in their position I would imagine consistency of quality is the key to repeat business. If customers have, say. 10 or 20% bad experiences, then even the best girls are going to lose 50% of their business based on numbers of people returning to the club. (To use my favourite restaurant analogy, imagine there were usually sumptuous servings but maggots in the soup for 10% of visits. It would affect business and people would talk about spoiled potential.) It's up to Artemis to consider the math and how to deal with it.

By the way I remember on days when there was a high guy to girl ratio, I might say to a girl,"Hey let's sit and chat for a bit," and she would say,"No, I'm only interested in sex." Now on a day when there is a high girl to guy ratio, I am not going to weep for the girls. I think it might make them relax a bit more and take more effort (enough to be civil) with the customers.

About the system of fixed prices, I agree that's a good one. Haggling would really be a vulgar experience for all participants. (At the same time people are entitled to get what they pay for.)

I am travelling to Berlin on 21st April and will be there for Good Friday (22nd) and the next two days. What are things like at the club over this time? Will it be very quiet? I have other things to do in Berlin as I am going to an Opera on 22nd (Wagner) and a concert on the evening of Saturday 23rd, so I'm not sure whether a trip to Artemis will be worth my while or not.
