I was flipping channels on the tele and came across a news bulletin that there was some sort of a protest in Thailand (Bangkok?). I would like to ask the locals if this has any effect on the monger scene?
Thanks
I was actually quite impressed by a few of the girls hanging out in front of the Thaniya bars, trying to get customers in. There were dozens in front of each bar on the ground level.
I don't think you missed much, but it's good to check it out from time to time.
Peace,
AT2
AT2,
Any luck bf'ing the barker girls out front on Thaniya?
Did you need to speak Japanese? If you were able to bf, 2k st, 3k baht lt?
Hp
No effect at all.
The Democrats have now lost 4 elections in a row, and simply do not like it. They therefore, along with their "high level sponsers" want another election to see if they can be "5th time lucky" and win.
Therefore, a bunch of inbreds called the PAD are acting illegally in blocking public access to roads. They are breaking many laws, but they want to incite violence, so the police are giving them the softly softly treatment.
The inbreds are hoping for another coup, trying to push to allow the military a reason to have coup, however the military will not want one, as it makes them look bad to have too many too often, and also they got spanked in the referendum and also the later election.
So, whilst its hilarious to watch the inbreds have their protest and see how Samak plays with them, do not worry, the mongering goes on, and all is well.
I did check it out a few weeks ago. Not much has changed. Aggressive touts that were so hard to get rid of, lot's of vendors and gawkers. I did check out the various bars and there was some talent, but not a lot. Electric Blue had the best selection, the night that I did my fly by. Number 9 and 30, were attractive, although number 9 was showing some evidence of giving birth recently. Very cute, though. I liked number 19, since she appeared to be mixed race and a nice change of pace. Cute, pettite and nice. Her name was Tan and we had a good time.
Looks like they had about a dozen girls (probably two rotations), with 6 on stage at a time. The Strip was dead that night, so that was a disappointment, after hearing there might be some potential there. AT2
Thanks for the info, mate. I know Patpong isn't thought of too highly on here but it's still the ne plus ultra in my jaded memory at least.
Cheers
A little tip for anyone staying at Majestic Suites for the first time.
It is almost impossible to stop outside the hotel so ask the taxi driver for the Nana Hotel then walk back to the main road and turn right. It is less than a one minute walk.
True, although most taxi drivers know how to take the soi (6, I think) behind the Majestic which comes out just north of the majestic. No streets to cross this way, just a VERY short walk back Sukhumvit, past 2-3 buildings.
Anyone else noticed the black African FL girls who have recently appeared on Sukhumvit, around 12.00pm, between Sois 3 and 5 where a lot of Thai FL hang out?
Can't be good for business, and scary for punters if they're associated with the guys in Soi Africa.
The girls approach you saying sex with a negress is the best you'll ever have. I may believe them, but they gotta be dangerous territory. ie FL and non Thai.
Be lucky.

I guess it takes one to know one. Attitudes and comments like these does not reflect well on the mongers who respect the country they visit and the people they meet.

I don't think many of us would know which Soi you consider to be "Soi Africa". I am aware of "Soi Gatoey" in Patpong and could probably imagine what "Soi Middle East" might be.
don't they call the soi where Grace is located "Soi Arab"?
And actually, in Pattaya there is soi 17(?) that is known locally as "Soi Arab"

Usually know as a little sub soi off Suk Soi 3 close to the Bamboo Bar.

Thanks, but not an area I frequent.

Same here. I learned something today, Soi Africa/Soi Arab.
A number of small sois that run off Sukhumvit 3 perpendicular to Sukhumvit 3/1. It's the area that has several primarily Egyptian restaurants and a couple of Eritrean/Ethiopean restaurants, as well as some reasonable hotels and some slightly unsavory flop houses, as well. There are also lots of Arab/Afican merchants and import/export places.
I often go there for a change of atmosphere, as well as a change of diet. There's some really good Middle Eastern food and you can smoke sheeshah afterwards.
