You always had a few stunnas and gems mixed up with the rats in Classicos. I was there Friday night and all I saw was Rats or should I say nothing worth paying for. Too many beer belly. When other mongerers start spending $50 for a seat, owners / managers at that particular establishment take it as people are willing to pay this much for being able to take a seat. And that's when it starts to reflect on other items as well. Drinks. Food. Chicas.

If you are spending $$$ on drinks+food+misc which leads to chicas, you are still spending quite a bit just to be able to do the deed. Doesn't matter if you are paying just 3,000 pesos for getting laid in the end, there is an overall cost to each chica. If I go to a bar, spend 100 pesos on a beer. See a chica I like, spend up to 200-400 pesos on drinks between us to get a conversation going and then she's in my bed all night for 3,000 pesos. I'm happy with that. Non-pros is different, since I'm taking them out on proper dates. But for pros, what you spend at places like Classicos can reflect overall pricing for P4 P in the area. Some mongerers hate seeing people throw down more money to get laid starting with the clubs and drinks, prices in Sosua aren't going down. And the more mongerers want to spend on things like. Sitting down at a club, it can have an effect on pricing for the hobby itself. And a majority of foreigners visiting Sosua, are there for that hobby. Hopefully you're not telling your girl that you're going to Sosua on business. Unless she is just an idiot, she should be able to figure out the real reason you are traveling. Sosua is not Bangkok, Bogota, or Amsterdam. It's a beach town known as a prime sex tourism destination.

I understand the complaint. Everyone wants their favorite spot to stay the same, same prices, same services. But things always change, price goes up, service goes down.

But don't worry, there's always another little town just waiting to be the next Sosua.

Let me qualify my experience in Peru. If I do not like the food in Peru, it is just my personal taste and it has no reflection on Peru in general.

I was in Arequipa for three weeks learning Spanish, then a week in Cusco and Machupicchu. Living standard is low, making turn-over in any restaurant slow and dishes not well-made and enjoyable. Altitude was high, making food difficult to digest and enjoy. Worse still, for personal reason, I cannot eat chicken, the main meat for Arequipa. Chifas are in general bad and I did not finish any dishes from them, against my childhood upbringing.

Ceviches are famous but its acidic and spicy nature hurts my stomach. I cannot physically eat another after the first attempt.

I am Chinese, old and with comfortable means, so I eat less but eat better. Where I am frequent, we like restaurants which are expensive, offer good food in small quantity for taste and not for substanence and we like to walk out teased and slightly hungry. If a city is low in living standard, it tends to offer something not to my liking. But then each to our own.

Anyone planning a gastronomic tour will include their own restaurants and the lists by individuals will be very different from each other's. I do not share the tastes of all my friends (and enemies). Great to have variety in life, in food and women. If we like the same thing all the time, it will be very strange indeed.

To each his own way of mongering, but I think my way is the best. When it comes to cunnilingus, if I'm hanging out in the lobby of my hotel, say, Casa Cayena, and I catch a girl on her way out from just finishing a session with another monger, I will not do it.
