My Spanish is pretty fluent though. Talking with the translator app would get pretty tiresome for anyone I'd think, no matter how nice / charming / handsome / generous you are.

I've had 2 chicas leave in less than 90 minutes in 10 years. And I never negotiate time / services. I've only had 1 clock watcher (a Luna Lunera stripper at the Mansion many years ago) in MDE in at least 40-50 sessions and one chica that didn't want to talk just fuck so she left after 45 minutes or so with 150 k. If your fears have to do with personal safety, hopefully you leave the fear behind in the US. Yes, you should always be aware of your surroundings and be especially careful after dark (as in stay inside). But that doesn't mean you should be looking over your shoulder expecting the grim reaper all the time. As long as you use common sense (don't even bring jewelry / watch, don't flash wads of cash in public, don't wear a fanny pack, no fancy smartphones in public, etc) you'll be fine.

If safety is a concern, not sure staying in Centro is the best idea. The hotels there are less than $30/ night, but the area can be sketchy even during the day. For a first time, the Mansion serves a purpose, even though the rooms are overpriced. It's a good place for a first timer to meet new chicas daily and put together a black book. If you want a hotel, I would recommend Laureles area. It's much safer and the hotels aren't too expensive. You can get a nice room for like $50-60.

But I think it can be done without fluency as long as you can get by (without using translator app).

In a club environment you may see a chica you like and grab her and on going to the room you see a better looking chica and you wish you had waited. This has happened to me many times. However, it has also happened that I lost out on a hottie. My strategy is to wait a while but don't wait too long. Regarding 3 there are genuine newbies who unknowingly would have overpaid, and I see nothing wrong in advising them that they overpaid, without insults of course.

I occasionally need to reach for the translator, or need to have things repeated, but I can get by in Spanish. I'm a long way from being fluent.
