One or two days is OK. But you're better off avoiding those dates or spending most of them in BKK in my opinion.

Walked at times to Soi Buakhao, Chaiyaphoon and Soi Diana late nights and never left with a "full sack" if you know what I mean. Asides from that, Soi 10 has always been great for me. I mainly stay at Sawasdee Sea View when in Pattaya. Its just a walk down to BR and you'll be swamped with Thai women. Fat, old, young, haggardly, beautiful, etc. Some are just DYING to get laid and willing to do it on the cheap. A little while ago when I was strolling BR, one woman who was pretty short and old, balding on the top and, missing a couple of teeth approached me was willing to have "some fun" for 300 BHT. I declined her offer and told her "Maybe another time"

I've done some uglies before but that one was a oh-hell-no!. LOL!.

I know many expat who leave Thailand for one week during Songkran. But some guys love it. Check some youtube videos to get you an idea. Everythings are open (some places will be close in the final days 18th - 19th) but girls are more focused on party, drinks and shoot water around. Also many girls will go home for spend the holiday with their family, but anyway there is no lack of girls.

My advice is to avoid it, then up to you.

The only way to avoid getting drenched is to either go out early before noon or late evening, when the shenanigans subside. I also noticed that as the week went on all the money exchange booths were closing up, limiting your money exchange options.

Anyways, YMMV. Heed the warnings and check out some Youtube videos and then decide if it's for you. You (the OP) might love it. Either way, LOS is still good.

Idk whether the MPs offering this style of massage in Pattaya use the real stuff or is it just hyped up to trap unsuspecting customers. I have made the mistake of being there in Thailand and indeed other SEA countries like Cambodia and found it to be most unpleasant. Alter your travel plans. Yours in mongering.

Protect your eyes, ears, nose and mouth at all costs if you get involved and take some of those ziplock sandwich bags for your phone, wedge etc.

After my last visit there in 2015 all my muscular aches and pains were gone, only to return a few weeks afterwards back home.

I've had 3 BJs so far in the soi 6 BJ shops and I couldn't finish once. Same happened with oil massage with "happy end". However hard I've tried to concentrate the happy end has remained elusive.
