The last thing I saw in the news about the place was that some union leader was trying to force the government to open the place back up on behalf of the workers. I had ran into a waiter I knew that use to work at HK but was moved to LCP and when it closed he ended up working in CC.

That banner you mentioned was put up before the last shooting at the place so it's not new. If you go back to a discussion that myself and BS had he mentioned that the owner of Caliente had taken over the lease of LCP. Well later I had read in the news that it was actually one of his associates that took it over and not him directly.

As far as La Cueva, after all the violence there HK group leased the place to Jorge hank Rohan, the one time mayor and owner of the caliente casinos. Maybe they thought with him running the place the violence would stop. But soon after he took over the shooting continued and the city closed the place again. With the recent reopening not sure who is running the place now.
