I looked for love and like almost everyone got burnt by it. I think I have learned my lesson but we all want to be loved a little bit. I love living here in Bangkok. Can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. You need balance. Other interests. Friends especially. A few reliable girls. But it's not paradise. There are minefields everywhere and you need to be sure you don't step on too many of them.

Few completely new girls. I have to admit to being a sex addict, as I think most of us are. Right now though I am away and have to do without sex for 2 weeks. This is possible but abnormal for me. I do have a GF in Bangkok but I am always aware that she will never have as strong a feeling for me to the extent that I feel for her. Equal feeling is hard to find. There are plenty of early to mid 30s gals who concentrated on their careers and think of themselves as "too old" now. Educated, most own cars, condos, etc, and they are not parasites like most BGs who expect a Farang to "take care of family."

I guess it is time for a roundup of my experience of Bangkok. Since I have stuck entirely to the tried and tested trails partly because of the fact that it was my first trip and partly because I managed to loose all my cards on the second day itself, I will stick to a few topics rather than a day by day account. Also, a big thank you to the forum members who helped me plan the trip.

Soapy vs Nuru: Tried both and in my opinion Nuru is the clear winner. The slippery slide at all possible angles with a girl was fun. First up I took the 2 hour one for at Dr. BJ Nuru at the end of Soi7/1 because they mentioned that the 2 hour rooms have standard beds along with the sliding mattress. But I realized that one hardly uses it and the 2000bht rooms more than suffice. The selection is much wider there after 5pm and first up I landed there at 11 am and there were only 3/4 girls to choose from. Soapies have lesser opportunities for 'touchpoints' with your girl.

Massage parlor: My standard Mango / Cherry / Ez experience was mixed. I had started my BKK trip with Wan (sent to my room) from Mango and it was a great experience. During the week, I wanted to try another Mango girl. The ones I picked over phone were not there at that time of the day. I then asked the Mamasan over phone to suggest someone who was really into dfk, gave a great BBBJ etc and she suggested the (the wasnt there when I visited Mango during the week). I looked at the photo on the website and said ok. When she came to the room she looked way different from the photos (too much weight). But I still felt obliged to continue. But on the bed she wouldn't kiss. Her BBBJ was less of a BBBJ and more of a hand job. Inspite of my polite requests for a BBBJ she continued with her hand. Though I came, I got mad at the Mango guys for suggesting her, called them up and told them I would want her to leave. Best shows on the gogo bar circuit: IMHO, the better shows are at Suzie Wong (girls eating each other on stage and there was definite tongue contact. I was sitting right there beside the stage) , Baccara and Spanky's (NEP). Spanky's gets its name from the fact that the girls spank each other's ass with an airless tube. I would rather go to the gogo bars for the shows rather than barfine them. I think taking the numbers from the girls and taking them later during your stay is a much better / cheaper alternative. I took two ladies this way: Noon from Suzie Wong and Ba from another bar on Soi Cowboy (can't remember which one). I was very surprised that a few of the women I liked at these bars only wanted to do ST even at a late hour. I spoke to an absolute stunner at Baccara (at 2. 30am) and she would only do ST for 3k+barfine and ST for her was 1 hour. I couldn't figure out whether she just found me ugly or that is the norm there. The only experience where I ran into a girl who ran off within 2 mins of a LD was a hot one from Spanky's.

My mistakes / disappointments: Other than the obvious thing about loosing my stuff, I managed to pick up a ladyboy at NEP. God knowswhat I was thinking but I guess too many drinks does this to you. Had bargained for 2k ST with him (her?) but thankfully realized this in the taxi to the hotel. Asked her to leave and the usual drama ensued with her asking for the entire 2k. Cabbie said something to him in Thai and he took 0. 5k and got off! Another disappointment was the Annies with the girl refusing to do FS. If a fellow member is down, it is not really nice to kick him. Disclaimers like 'no offense intended' don't really mean much. Members like like Rjss have come up with intelligent / helpful responses like a Fedex which I found would have been a simple solution.

A lot of interesting points have been made in the recent discussion about BKK and p4p vs. Non p4p girls. Every year I usually spend around 2 months in Asia, one month in LOS, mostly BKK and one month spread out between the PI, Macau and wherever. For this reason, I play the short game and look to p4p girls exclusively to show me a good time. I am not disappointed. And that is because even though I do find attractive, independent, Thai girls with a tight bodies, good hearts, stable personalities, decent minds, passionate natures very appealing, and that probably rules out 95% of the p4p girls, but not all; I think I will always want to remain open to any and all possibilities. In any case, I am not looking for a girlfriend. That is not why I want to move to BKK, although if one were to come around, I wouldn't throw her out. I do understand that a small percentage of non p4p girls bring something more to the table than even the nicest pros. But let's just say that I did happen to fall in love with a regular BKK girl (doubtful), that she loved me and I invited her to live with me. I know I would never give up my p4p friends entirely.
