If you insist on checking into your hotel of choice very early, make sure you have a commitment in email or other writing from them to let you do that. Otherwise you may have to reserve the night before or else pay something extra for the privilege. Or they may tell you sorry we don't have a room available yet.

My story:
I flew in at 530am last time I was there. I was booked into City Garden Manila: when I asked for early entry during the reservation process, they only said that depends on availability. So I took my chances, but when I arrived, they said they were still full and there was no room available for me. Looking back, I should have taken an ST place like Sogo or Victoria Court to hold me until the afternoon. Or else included the night before in my booking and let them know I was going to be really, really late. As it was, I wasted almost 4 hours until City Garden could get me a room before noon.

At least I was able to leave my luggage at the front desk, but I did not want to trust them with my laptop bag so I took that with me while walking around. But at 8am, Robinson's is not open yet nor are any but the scuzziest money changers available. And I wasn't going into LA Cafe with my laptop bag so not much to do. What a waste!

This is only a guess, but it may be better to stay in an ST place, then check in to your hotel around 2 or 2:30, then you can be nice and ask for the best room they have available at your rate. They should have a few rooms open by then.

Try Eva Air. You will have a lay over in Taipei for about 2.5 hours, but the long leg is only about 12-13 hours as apposed to 16 for PAL which is pretty direct. Taipei-Manila gets in at around 11:30am in Manila. I smoke so I prefer this flight. Generally less expensive on Eva, I think they have specials from SFO right now. Sign up at website. I'll have 80K in frequent flyer miles after July trip. I always fly economy but I can check in at First Class counter. They have a nice lounge at Taipei. Good safety record with EVA, as well.

If you stay on that route, I think there are some short time hotels near airport that you could use for 1st morning to save a full rate at your hotel.

Cathay Pacific leave SFO at 1.30 am arrive HKIA 6.30 in the morning next day and first flight is 8.15 to manila you get there around 10 am in the morning cost is about 950 usd with stop over in Hong kong , CX have 5 flight a day to Manila to Hong kong you might get lucky like I did and picky a hot filipina freebie on the plane there are many single lady on the flight.

Very few Manila hotels let you check in early even if they have vacant rooms.
They seem to go by the book for this. Generally the attitude at the front desk is not friendly at all in any of the Manila hotels. You cannot even bribe them.
If you are arriving early I would head to AC to finish that part of your trip first. Even if you arrive early in AC they will give you the room if they have it available.

Yes, this is soooo true. I try to avoid using my credit card and Manila hotels tend to make me pay some deposit or pay the entire stay in advance. What a load of crap. Then I get to AC, and out of habit pull out my wallet...

...no, don't need that until I check out. How refreshing.

Of course on the plus side I've had some wild rides with one especially attractive hotel staff member.

I don't know where you guys may have been staying, but what you report is not commensurate with my experience. I never have any problems checking in early, if there are rooms available and I'm rarely asked to provide a credit card or deposit on check in. For the most part, I've found the staff at the check-in desks to be courteous and responsive, and I've never been treated rudely.

Good point GE. My experiences in Manila tend to be Ermita / Malate / Pasay hotels in the 2-3000 peso range. I suspect you are hitting better hotels.

My experiences with early check-in have been positive and most of the staff have been curteous. Exceptions were Frendy Hotel (rude / left my door unlocked) and Copacapana (beauracratic/ slow / unexpected refrigerator charges).

My post may have been misleading. I was simply agreeing with the idea of heading to AC. Manila hotels are more expensive (of course) and I particularly don't like them asking for the upfront payment.

Nevertheless, if you stay somewhere for several days, pay attention to the dates and number of nights. On a couple of occasions I was being charged for the day I was checking out...even though I was checking out in the morning. Honest mistake?

I've been to MU dozens of times and very rarely see people in full attire. It also isn't too expensive compared to some of the clubs in QC. The price is raised on SML to 100 and I think the ladies drinks and time is 480/hour. VIP room is 2500 or 3500 consumable depending on the room and usually for about 2000 or 2500 you can have ES in the room.

Also, I know it was mentioned before but I think it should be mentioned again. The term "Jap" to most Japanese (especially Japanese-Americans) is the equivalent of the "N" word to black people. I'm sure that most don't know that but I thought I would point it out again.

The reason for Japanese-Americans is that because during WW2 and the internment of the Japanese (despite most being US Citizens), "Jap" was the derogatory term they were referred to as--just like how the "N" word was used in the times of slavery.

I don't intend to start any trouble but just thought I would mention it since many were unaware...

3-holers are not as easy to come by IME. I know of one at a massage parlor who will but generally, Filipinas don't like anal. I think it's been discussed here previously too.

I don't claim to be an expert by any means but from what I have seen and heard, it is not too common. I'm pretty sure that there's no specific place you can go to find one but if I were looking, I would try some chat rooms first and just ask the girls...

Most asians girl don't like anal because of the petite ass most never try it they just think it must hurt alot , I think the best chance to get a 3 holer is in thailand or indoneasia most flilipina don't even like bbbj so anal will be tough here .

Amidst rumors that LA Cafe might be closed or closing I went there last night, they were open and as crowded as usual (not a single soul at Stringfellows across the street though). Sat at the bar downstairs, was approached by a couple ugly girls. I told my neighbor I was looking for GFE and she advised me to go upstairs to find my type, which I did. Band was playing but it was pretty quiet for a while. Then Pretty Girl 1 arrived with her friend, Pretty Girl 2. PG2 was holding hands with some older guy, who asked me if the three of them could sit at my table. Why not, I was not even planning to stay at that point.

Then PG1 started a conversation, became more and more friendly, performed shows on stage with PG2 and, combined with the drinks, things started to look better. Shortly after she was sitting on my lap, kissing, fondling etc. We had a good time. The old guy was footing the bill for both girls drinks and told me at some point that this type of girl is much better in bed than the beautiful ones. Obviously we did not have the same scale as I though both looked darn good.

PG1 acted shy at first, asking PG2 if she should go with me. I took that to be part of the game, she said she had worked at LA Cafe for 6 months. I asked PG1 to give me a price and she never did, we eventually left for my hotel around 3AM.

Showered, undressed and so far everyting looked good. She was shy, dimmed the light and would not let me see her belly because she had a baby 6 months ago. Said she was 22. Once in bed I DATY'ed her to climax and was ready for a reciprocal treatment when she turned around and said she wanted to sleep first. Ha, ha very funny, get to work please.
