It's been 300 for room fee (I call it barfine) but some bars increased room fees to 350 about a year ago. I read somewhere some bars have now increased to 400 but I have not experienced this. The 1000 has always been the rate paid to the girl directly. I believe it's Mr. E who says he gets the 1000 all-inclusive like you quoted. Never heard of anyone else who gets these special rates. Rates do not change during the day vs. The night or during different days of the week. Maybe the bar forgot to charge you for the room fee when you paid 1000 all-inclusive?

I haven't barfined anyone from a Soi 7 or 8 bar for well over a year but used to be 300 baht if I remember correctly. Not sure how much the LK Metro / Soi Buakhao bars like Scooter's and Billabong cost. Anyone know?

Not a big difference since either way it is great value for money but the search is painful looking for the one that turns you on instantly.

With regards to paying the girl 1400 PLUS room fee. That is overs, and in my experience unusual, but that is what you agreed upon. Other's may not.

Soi's 7&8 and Bukhao are all completely different and you could be paying 1000 or 1500 for the barfine, plus another 1500 to 2000 for the girl (in establishments like Shooters). Or, 300 or 400 barfine and 1000 for a girl at the other end of the spectrum.

Best to ask in the early stages of your visit to the bar.

If I am buying pussy or some item (besides food) from a street vendor then I always negotiate. Recently another buddy that lives here had an electronic iPhone lighter that charges by USB. He said he paid 700 baht for it. When I ran into a guy selling them the guy wanted 850 baht. I negotiated him down to 300 baht, then other friends at the table started buying them from him as well. And that is the same reason I get a taxi at the airport for 900 baht. Why anyone around here would take the first price that is given is beyond me.

The 300 room rate has increased from 300 to 350-400.

Starting to gear up for my 7th, bi-annual Pattaya trip! Will be in town for 2 weeks in 5-1/2 weeks, so time is getting short. Thanks to a great stock market I will splurge and fly EVA business from LAX to BKK, departing in the wee hours and landing late morning. I should be well rested and able to hit Pattaya running. I love EVA, but that may be because they have cute FA's and it is the airline I have always used to take me to the Land of Smiles!

I am trying to rely more on Thai Friendly this time to locate girls. I have not yet joined, but I will 2 weeks before I leave. Even so, I have been making a number of contacts already with their one free message every 10 minutes deal (though some of the most popular girls are locked out for use cheap skates). I will also spend 2 weeks with my Thai GF. It should be more fun with her now that her virginity thing has been taken care of, and to celebrate we will go to Hong Kong and cruise to Okinawa. She used the L word as I was pounding her last time, so that will have to be addressed, and she could be the limiting factor on future Pattaya trips.

But for now, I will try to have some fun, see some hotties, get in a 3-way or two, and get some photographs, while I can.

A buddy of mine had been raving about Thai Friendly and I would go on every now and then and do the one message deal. Did it the other night and was like fuck it and decided to pay for 3 months. I looked at my profile and saw I have had that account since 2010. Never really used it though.

DO NOT pay 2 weeks before. As you have said 99% of the chicks on there want to be contacted when you are ready to meet them. And I mean at that very exact moment. It is like an electronic Beach Road. And help you if you give them your LINE ID. They are going to send you a message every day asking if you are ready to meet. The idea of building contacts does not register with them. The first day I told her that I was busy with friends. I tried to pay for them and she said don't worry. I know you are a Cheap Charlie. I will pay. I was laughing my ass off. We got home and she wanted a t-shirt. She said not to bother her but of course you are not going to lie in my bed and we ain't fucking. So one thing leads to another. The next day I dropped her off then I sent her a message and could sense her attitude had changed. I finally asked what the problem was. She said she was looking for money! So I guess she was angry that I had not given her any after she told me that is not what she does.

I sent another chick a message last night at 2 am and 5 minutes later I was at her door. I have several more stories over the past few days and have fucked a couple more chicks from the site. So I am telling you that from my experience Thai Friendly is only to be used when you are immediately ready to have someone come over.

I work from home at my computer so I can easily tap out a message for free every 10 minutes. I seem to have sent out about 120 messages so far with 12 responses, for a 10% hit rate. Of those, about half have made multiple responses, but it is mostly "did you have a good day?" and "yes, thanks, did you?" sort of thing that dies out after a few days. Maybe 3 continue with daily sharing of simple events. I hope to see them in particular, but as you warn, they may continue to nag after I am done.

I suppose the only reason for me now to get the short membership is to make contact with the popular girls who are otherwise restricted. Sometimes they do become available after a week, and a few of them list their contact information in their profile. But, there are plenty of attractive girls on there, so I will probably heed your sage advice and stick to the free membership. But of course, I am following a near-perfect girl right now, and by the time I arrive she is still a high-lister, I may break down so I can contact her! This girl may cost thousands of TB in a gogo club, so I might actually save money in that case.
