After reading abit here on the forums and hearing stories frommates I have 2 questions;

1. Is this joint the easist place on the face of the earth to pick up women...even non P4P?

2. IS every filipino woman desperate to marry a western guy so she can escape this joint.

answer to ur 1st question: yes you can pick up woman there also for free but you have to marry them right away, buy gifts, shopping...I would recomand you pay a fee and have fun for one night..

ur 2nd question: yes they desperate to escape this joint, some are desperate for a few hours, some for all night and some will even consider a marriage (see my answer to ur question no 1) but I strongly recomand to pay the small fee and have some fun. I mean you wont consider to look in buy and sell if you like to marry a woman in your country...Do you??

Just got off the phone with a honey I met at LA Cafe last November. She tells me that the club's days are numbered due to the new city leadership. She expects a closing in July. Can anyone confirm this?

About nine years ago, when he was mayor, he closed down all the shops with WG so generally that is the impression now - that he will be closing all the shops again with no exception.

He is taking over a mayor on July 1.

Thanks to those who responded to my question about crack-o-dawn arrival.. I've emailed some hotels and while some insist on charging extra day, others are willing to allow early checkin IF they have rooms... plan to nail this down upon firm date.

Logistics and costs still favor PAL SFO-MNL ($1254 RT), so my plan is to use this route and insist on some flexibility on the part of hotels.. Plan B would be just to continue on to AC.

Anyway my question regards cell phones. I was reading several RTFFs and hope it was this one that discussed it.. is it best to bring your USA cell phone and simply buy a new SIM card for it in RP? or just buy new cellphone upon arrival? Seems to me the honey connection worth the price in any case!

I have always had good luck with the EDSA complex. Stepped into Cotton Club, Mama san remembered me from years ago and said the girl I used to go out with still works there...

Moved to the next place on the left where I was immediately approached ny a tall girl baring her breasts. She was good looking but not the best looking girl int he place. She was all over me, I picked her, she was the right choice.

To answer your question about filipinas.

Not all filipinas are desperate to leave their country. The poorer ones certainly are, but those who are middle class and higher have little incentive to leave. And you will generally have a hard time getting to know them.

I have a couple of filipina girl friends who are not from the bar scene, I met them through mutual friends, in casual conversation in a shopping mall, professionally, or one through correspondence. They have never asked for a cent, I fly them to wherever I am in SE Asia, for a week or so at a time. I pay their expenses, but no more. When I am in Phils, I choose which one, for when, and cycle them through.

I guess if I offered marriage they would take it, but marriage has never been a precondition to a full on relationship, with lots of red hot sex.

And they are 100% gfe all the time.

I believe that they do not have as many layers of restrictions on sexual activity as we do, particularly those from the USA, Canada, England, Australia etc, who have been affected by the Victorian ethic.

Also, in general terms, their men treat them very badly by western standards, so they are very appreciative of being taken care of, and respected, western style.

There are many report on sim card in this theard if you are not too lazy to do some search, sim card in pi is one of the cheapest in the world globe sime card is about 5 USD charge 100 peso is around 2 USD good for 30 min local call you should bring a used cell phone and unlock it at US and I just throw the sim card away went I leave Pi it is only good for 2 month unless you keep recharge the sim, there are global recharge every where in manila even the seven eleven got them.

Re: SIM cards. I usually go with Globe and buy at Harrison Plaza, typically around P99. Many places will take the price tags off the packs and try to sell for more (for all I know there could be a P69 pack somewhere). I think Globe has roaming agreements with DTAC in Thailand, though I have never tried to use that.

Just an FYI for you guys if you dont know yet....I was emailed a promo offer from Eva Air that they have flights available from Manila-USA. One way is $345US, r/t is $575. You need to book by July 15 and travel from Sept. 1- Dec. 15, 2007. Not sure if you need to originate from Manila or not but check it out if your looking for a deal!

How about calling your #1 honeyko such that it appears that you are out of the country, when in fact you are not. Is there a way to accomplish this? I have some ideas, but I haven't yet tried them:

For example, if I use a roaming agreement with a US carrier, will my calls to Cebu show up on the receiver's phone as coming from the US, even if I am still in Cebu?

Could I accomplish this using Yahoo Voice, or a similar internet voice product, by using my laptop and a microphone? Is the connection stable enough to hold a clear conversation?

It seems that either way, one precaution is to make sure that you're making the call from a spot where there are no tell-tale background noises, like motorbikes or roosters, which I almost always hear when I'm on a call with a honey.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A roaming agreement/sim card from a US carrier would probably show up as the US number on the receiving phone. The only catch would be that it'the be a costly call.

Alternatively you can see if you can get caller ID blocking on a local number, which makes your calls appear as an unidentified or blocked number, but I don't think this option is available for prepaid cards, only for contract cards. And you'll have to 'prime' her up to think that your blocked number is your non-local number.

Now I'm no cell phone guru, but it looks to me like many GSM phones sold in the US (or Europe) won't work in the RP even if you stick in a local SIM card, since the US networks operate at 1900Mhz (Europe 900) and RP uses 1800. I think this is probably built into the phone, rather than resident on the SIM card.

If this is correct, then you'll either need to have a tri-band phone (900/1800/1900) or else a 1800Mhz one which you could purchase in RP. And of course a local SIM card. I am leaning toward purchasing a phone and SIM card when I get to MNL.

If anyone knows that this is mistaken, please correct me!

I see the MNL-SFO-MNL price of $575 on their website. But do it the other way around (SFO-MNL-SFO) and you get $1289 (SF-MNL one way is $819). This is bola bola!
