At AMPs, Termas, Strip clubs, wherever, one should never identify theirself as a newbie. Did the newbie say something to cause them to believe he might not session, i.e. "just checking the place out?" Perhaps Luomo front desk was just covering their bet.

Yeah, good point. But I don't use a cell phone in Brazil. So my only way to call her was through the hotel phone from my room. And I do not know how to send a text this way. Come to think of it: I never text via my cell phones in Europe or the US either.

Plus, as you can see from my reports on the following days, the heartache didn't last that long for me ;) That's the beautiful thing about Rio: There is always a next "love of my life".

She had her own post on the "FALE COM AS ACOMPANHANTES" thread. Doesnt appear to be there now. She was charging 300R for 2 hours! You can always try going to black and white and look for her. If she isnt there, offer to buy one of the girls a drink, if she will give you her cell number.

I know some folks who think the US doallar is going to tank soon. Though we can probably count on the dollar being weak for the near future, I don't think that it's going to depreciate so much that it becomes a third-world currency. Not an economist so I have no idea, but since I earn my money in dollars I certainly hope not.

I'll be in Europe for a few weeks this November (causing trouble & chasing Euro-babes); I reckon that instead of converting my Euros at the end of my vacation I'll keep a few hundred and then exchange them in Rio when I return there in January.

I believe the Luana on Hotside is the wrong girl. We want the big ass porn star. In March-May 2009, I heard she was at Black and White. But I was warned not to visit that neighborhood.

Thats the same girl i am talking about, she worked/works at B&W. She also had her own thread on hotside at one time. Maybe some of the americans who live in brasil can look on the brasilian sites and see some updates about her.

I didn't hear the whole conversation but its kind of hard to not look like a newbie when you are one. But I think that is the great thing about the top line places -- newbies don't have to worry. They don't getnripped off. I'm just wondering, now that a newbie who had done his homework posted this (sorry, forgot the name) and I saw it happen, if they are putting in a new policy. At least for first timers? I think they would have a problem with the rest of us. But Centauras did it. I would probably come around given the alternative of not going in. LOL!

I gave him her name and photo. Told him to make sure she is in there. He\I also heard it's a rough hood but was told if you straight to spot from bus\cab should be ok. Plus was told the security was tight in the spot. I will update you after he goes.

I think Luomo used to automatically discount R$10 when you sessioned with a girl on any day.
I know that they now discount R$30 (50% off) if you arrive before 7pm on any day of the week and session with a girl anytime during that stay. But I don't know if the R$10 discount above is still true.
