How much money to bring? An answer.
OK fellow mongerers, in just under 4 weeks I will be boarding the big silver bird bound for the Land of Smiles! I am now well into my planning and preparation phases for the trip, and part of that planning since I prefer to take cash over and convert it there. Includes deciding how much cash to take.
Some of you nubes may ask, "How much cash should one take?" Well, it depends on what you hope to accomplish. The guy who wants to take home a top-end agogo stunner each night for long time (LT) will need considerably more funds than the man who will be happy with a Soi 6 girl for ST every other day.
But here is how I decide, based on my previous 6 visits over the last 3 years. The quick way is to simply take the average price per girl that I have spent in the past and multiply that by the number of girls I think I will have. It is quick and easy, provided I see the same types of girls where the averages works out.
So, in my past 3 visits (Fall of 2016 and 2017 and spring of 2017), I have averaged $55 per girl, which includes her fees, BF and tips.
This trip, my goal is to have 30 girls. This is slightly above my average rate of 2. 25 girls per day, but this time I expect to have one or two 3-ways. And, for those of you not familiar with my trips, I am an old dude that is lucky to come once in three days wearing condoms, so with 2. 5 girls per day, over three days I will have 7 or 8 girls and come once. A real bummer, but better to screw a pretty girl and not come than to not screw a pretty girl at all!
So, for 30 girls at an average of $55/ girl, I will need to take $1,650.
You may ask what kind of girls I usually have to get this average, which is about equal to 1,800 baht (the exchange rate has been getting worse, but this is close to today). I mostly have done Soi 6 girls, with a few BR freelancers, some Red Car women, and several high tier agogo girls. But, this time I want to change what I do a bit. I want to replace some of the Soi 6 encounters with TF girls, which should lower my costs. But I also want to do a 3-way or two, which may increase my costs, especially if I go to DD for one of them. (I know DD will add unneeded expenses, but I have never been there and it will be OK to try it once for a report.) And I may do a few extra top tier girls as while their service has never been better that a decent Soi 6 visits where PSEs are available, their beauty is often enough to get me off.
Following is a plan for 30 girls, to include several 3-aways, based on historical prices. You may note that some prices are higher that often discussed here. For example, Soi 6 girls are usually 1,300 baht, but I have upped that to reflect drinks. You are welcome to challenge my averages, but these should be close.

This detailed estimate exceeds my quick estimate as I have included additional agogo girls and pricier FL girls. There is a wide range of FL girls, from cheap BR ladies for 600 to 800, to several thousand for high quality Insomnia girls. I am hopeful for more higher quality girls, but I am old so probably will be stuck with cheaper BR and Red Car ladies. Who knows? But I want to be prepared, and I feel this estimate will ensure I have plenty of funds for the type of mongering I do and wish to do.
So, how much cash will I actually take? Obviously more than $2,150! Consider my estimate for a WS agogo girl. Some may be 3,000 and some may demand more than 6,000 plus drinks and food and, if she is downright stunning and the dream of my life, I want the ability to let my dick do the thinking and pay her fee and be so taken by her I will do her again and maybe even again!
The amount of cash one takes also includes expected expenses that you can't use your credit card for. These would include between 2,400 to 3,200 baht for the taxi to / from BKK, costs for a SIM card and plan for your phone, and if you like to drink and buy lots of LDs, a maybe a few more tens of thousands of baht!
Based on this, I am taking $3,000. I never approached spending this amount in my longest stay of 13 days, but this will guarantee that I have no worries about running out of money, short of theft. And I will have my Capital One card in case I need emergency cash.
Music at Walking Street A Go Gos.
Last night, Sunday. I was at What's Up sitting with a couple of models and coyote dancers. What I like about the club is that the DJ will play requests. I paid him 100 baht for a couple of songs remixes that I miss. It's not often that the club gets a Journey "Separate Ways" and Fleetwood Mac "Dreams" request from a heavily tattooed Asian guy. I've listed the bars for the best music and friendliest DJs who will play requests. (Palace, What's Up, Farenheit, Sapphire, Baccara, and Sensations). I can't stand that Thai disco music that sounds like a broken record combined with a car alarm going off. For me, the music is as much entertainment as the girls. Crappy music and I can probably stay only 10 minutes in a Go Go bar.
