A friend there told me that you could see covid testing tents around town but I did not find any in Cologne when I was searching in person or online.

Do you have a specific location that you can share here? Both in Darmstadt or NRW?

BUT: At the homepage of sharks they write that they can test you for 5 Euro if you need a test to enter and don't have one.
