Smaller 'unknown' places tend to disappear quicker without money flows from abroad. Angeles is not what it was for us old scrotum white guys due to the proximity and cheap flights available to Koreans. IE a long weekend away. Also I doubt that millions of us mongers even will venture too far off our usual haunts. I like many others often take a smaller or side trip to somewhere more exotic but still prefer Pattaya say for other reasons than just mongering. Eg better hotels with swimming pools, better food, nice atmosphere and more to do. Last year I took a side trip to Laos which was worth it for the tourist bit but would not go there purely for the mongering, its a pretty poor show with poor attitudes, not that cheap either. This year I think I will try Jakarta.
