Sunday's raids in 151 MPs across Chennai is a major one in recent times. Out of these 151, 64 were asked to shut permanently citing license issues. These raids originated due to some evidence gathered from the houses of 2 inspectors. Those 2 inspectors were working in AVS in 2018 and had strong nexus with SPs. Vigilance team conducted raids at these inspectors' houses. Can expect these raids to extend to SPs as well.
