Boots on the ground report
I hate that military term.
Came to Sosua. For a short two nights stay. I will be on my way back to Santiago by Metrobus this morning.
Casa Valeria had no space so went over to Romanoff. Interestingly, for those who favor the women on the hotel premises bit, might find this place interesting now. Lots of women rent rooms here in one specific wing facing the main street. So while lounging at the entry, I found one around 4 PM yesterday, that appealed to me, look wise but once inside had the usual, no to this and no to that. So attitude is a big thing for me and she scored low. There were many others too but by the time I come to Sosua, my libido has waned and I do not have the time.
The main drag was rather quiet on Thursday night. Last night I went to eat at an Italian place, next to Mamajuana cafe. Had a nice plate of pasta. As I was eating, a girl was walking by, recognized me and came and said Hello. Once my meal was over, I called her and we went back to the hotel for an hour. She too stays at Romanoff, speaking of coincidence. In general, Sosua is live and kicking. Not too many males and plenty of women. I stayed away from Rumba, that effing music kills me, except the ribs of the rumba guy, which were delectable that I ate on Thursday night.
By the way, the other side of mamajuana, there is a bar and at least 3-4 pretty, slim young women who were belting songs of Romeo Santos, on full blast as usual. I checked but their job apparently is to persuade you to buy drinks. I told one, I would buy one in exchange of her phone number. She demurred. Others on this forum may get luckier. Pretty women, Santiaguera kind!
