Staying in Atlas in Addis.

Can't find something near the action in Nairobi that's not super expensive. Will default to Hilton if no-one one the board coughs up a better suggestion.

However $115 a night seems a bit steep for Nairobi? Also not sure how girl friendly it is.

Thanks to anyone willing to give advice on better hotel near girls and clubs.

Are you posting in Adis about your hotel and what's going on there? Am not seeing good things being posted about Ethiopia.

I've have had scammers deny me, raise the price, and tell me to book again. I have asked to have somebody come and look at the place, and the owner not answer my request. Don't go cheap with ABB, otherwise you will be in a dump that looks good online. My 47/night place had a leaky toilet, completely frozen over fridge, and fucking roosters crowing every morning next door.

Airbnb can be a great option if: You know the area your booking. Great if you don't have to walk too far from your apartment to transportation when your leaving to go to a bar at night. You need to keep a bunch of taxi numbers on hand. Great if you don't mind cooking, and going back and forth to the store to buy food. Great if your girl don't mind walking a bit to find a matatu the next day. If she only have heels she will be pissed. Great if you have somebody to come and clean, and do your laundry. They will probably hand wash your clothes in the tub, then air dry, which means you will be ironing the wrinkled freaking clothes days after they finally dry. Great if you are aware of Kenya's pre-pay electricity, and the owner does not let it run down to ZERO in the middle of a cold Aug. night.

Think about the logistics of the advice you give before you throw out suggestions that work for you.

Why? Because I have an Appt for rent on AirBnB. (No, not in Kenya). To get listed, you will have a pro photographer coming to your place together with a homemaker: you won't recon your place on the pics. Stunning. But its light and flower arrangements done for that occasion only. Same as the model shots for escorts.

In a hotel you find a certain standard begiining with a 24 hour check in to basic items you need. And if you don't like the room, you may be able on the spot to move to another one. In an appartement however it will take you a couple of days to get organized: good for long time vacations, but not advisable if you stay a few days only.

I don't know what you find good in the shithole called simmers, I am a local and you will catch me dead in that place, the place is invaded by street women most likely from Kibera and the likes, has a very terrible ambiance and has the smell of roast meat and charcoal everywhere, maybe old folks find that sexy, if I were you I would move my operations to places like Galileo club, and Westlands, since you have a hotel there, or xsmillionares and these new joints, most probably you will get non-pros and semi-pros or down low pros, in these clubs.

Hadn't been to Nairobi for a long time, unfortunately my work takes me elsewhere mostly these days. So had lost my data base of key places to visit, luckily on my 3rd attempt uber Gods blessed me with a driver, Evans, who knew the right spots. He took me to a joint where I had been before, real hard to find near Green House mall, it's called Adams. Double story house kitted out like a strip bar downstairs, apparently its full at nights on weekends. And upstairs there 4 bedrooms. There must have been a dozen or more ladies working there, in all shapes and sizes *licks lips* trust me you'll find whatever tickles your fancy. Have had 2 different ladies there this week, service is dependent on chemistry I guess, but got to love the all-in one hour package for Ks 2,000!

Really looking forward to trying out the semi-pro market on next trip.
