Arrival: Arrived at around midnight but the process was super easy. Went straight to the egate where I scanned my passport and entered. No need for Americans to go through formal immigration. Just keep the receipt for exit like with the old FMM process.
Hotel: Stayed at the Grand Chapultapec Residencial per the forum. It primarily caters to business travels given the business district around it. Would have stayed at the fiesta americana but it was fully booked. Arrived late but security was friendly and helped me get checked in. Hotel is ok and is girl friendly. The reception and security really doesn't give a shit and the girls just walked straight to my room since the elevator doesn't require a key card. Through the mediocre service is double edged. The room I got had no view. The windows just look out into the other side of the hotel. I asked for a king bed and got a room with two queen sized ones, the A / see stopped working after about two days (though they did fix it after a day) and I was awoken by the chirping of birds every morning at 6 due to the cheap insulation. Cleaning is also an extra 250 pesos per day though I don't really mind since I prefer not having to hide my valuables every day.
Tourism: Did a walking tour of the city center which was nice and another one of condessa / roma. Separately I went to Guadelope and Teotihuacan on a tour which was nice and I definitely recommend though the amount of walking in the heat left my body sore which made me lose about half a day to recover.
Mongering: Connected with JC before the trip. He provided some useful suggestions and added me to the local ISG group. See experiences below:
Girl 1: Alexa Rios- found her on blogdibusti. Deposited 200 and scheduled her for 10 AM the next day. She came about 10 minutes late but kept me updated so pretty good there. She looks like a typical punk rock girl. Covered in tats, with a somewhat goth look. Learned she was a Cuban girl which was pretty cool. Don't think I've had one of them before. Service was fine. Met up with fellow ISGer Wyatt to go to the party. It was on the other side of the city so took over an hour to get there. Honestly, that tired me out quite a bit. When we arrived there was about 6 guys and 4 girls plus some beer, drinks and snacks. I decided to wait to see the field. After about an hour and a half it was about 30 guys and about 12 girls. Not a great ratio but an ok one given the economics of the situation. Of the girls, I found four the were to my liking. There were another six who looked ok but had something I didn't like (too short / small mostly, ugly face, too thick) and there were only two who were legitimately just fat and unattractive. For the first hour people were kind of just sitting around with the most beautiful girls being taken in and out by guys. I decided to pull the trigger on two of the girls that I had seen go for three sessions with other guys as a threesome. They were super popular. The more attractive one was Jimena who looked overall nice but was lactating since she had a two year old kid. The other, I think was Valeria, was a bit chunky but seemed happy to be taken along. I talked with them in Spanish for a bit and learned that they offer lesbian service. So I went upstairs with them, passing the beds that had people fucking in the open. Overall:
The Good:
DFK and BBBJ are widely available here which is nice compared to most places in my experience. This is a huge plus.
Safety is less of a problem. The police do a pretty good job here and Mexican are way more chill compared to Brazillians and Colombians. While it isn't SEA, it is probably closer to a major city in the US.
Mexico city is a very livable city if you make first world money. The food is fantastic and there is a huge amount of diversity of people. People are generally quite friendly and you can find pretty much anything you need here. It's also quite walkable.
Girls tend to take metro here (probably in part due to traffic) which saves some money on the taxi fares one pays in most cities.
The Albercada- The price to quality ratio is better than pretty much anywhere else in the city. You basically get girls at a third to half price from their normal rates which they are happy with due to the volume they get at these parties. The hottest girls definitely get in the range of four to five thousand pesos during these things without the stress of having to go to different motels. For those who have travelled in Latin America, I would say the quality is on the upper end of what one would experience in Rio's Centro or Bogota's Santa Fe which aligns with the price point quite well. The host was great in managing the party (nothing stolen, snacks and drinks available, everyone following the rules) as well so definite props to him.
Juan Carter- It's really great to have someone helpful for this city. Without him, I suspect I would have quickly given up.
The Bad:
Prices are expensive here compared to somewhere like Colombia. This applies for mongering, hotels, food, transport and everything else. I had not budgeted properly and so ended up spending more than I was expecting. Had I understood the costs, I probably would have just kept this trip to tourism and mongered somewhere else.
Foreigner Invasion- I think I have heard more people speaking English here than in any other place in Latin America. My three major problems with this are that 1. It weakens the foreigner factor here, 2. It increases prices for everything and 3. Foreigners (especially Americans and Europeans) like to bankroll local girls. It's the same problem that has damaged Colombia (Americans, mostly) and the Philippines (Koreans).
Lack of local forums- The regular online websites (I. E. Mileroticos, photoprepagos) are a mess everywhere but most cities have forums of local mongers. All the forums I have found for CDMX are either dead or close to dead. It astounds me how a city this big doesn't have something.
The Ugly:
Obesity- I am not a fan of thick women. According to some sources the rate of overweight / obesity is around 75% including 67.6% of those between 20 and 39. And it is very apparent. Honestly, a lot of the thinner women I saw were foreign born or foreign descended including working girls. Mexico City has a significant foreign born population. Condessa and Roma were better but this is because it is where the young professionals live so don't expect to find many working girls there. I would say about 20% of the women I saw in their 20's were comparable to an average Paisa, looks wise, with about 40% in Condessa and Roma.
Lack of incall- I'm not sure why this is the case in Mexico so I would appreciate any insight but I feel as though both Mexico City and Guadalajara has a shocking lack of incall girls whereas in most of the countries I've been to in South America has plentiful incall options. Why is this a problem for me?
1. Dangers of Bait and Switch- For incall, you can just see the girl and leave if she isn't the one in the picture. She can't do much about it. For outcall, especially if calling them to your hotel, you need to be very careful. Girls can cause major issues from yelling to fighting to damaging things. You will get stuck paying at least some amount for this risk.
2. Extra Motel Cost- To avoid the risk of the first one, you can opt for a motel. But this means you need to fork over an extra $15-30/ session. You could potentially do multiple sessions in a motel but that means being stuck there for a couple of hours which I don't find particularly fun.
3. Deposits- Most girls here require a deposit to avoid customer no-shows or cancellations. While I understand why they push for this, it makes it way higher risk to book a random girl when you don't know if she will ever actually come.
4. Scheduling- This is a big pain in the ass for me. Everything needs to be scheduled in advance and it bites me on both sides. If I'm horny right now, I need to wait, best case, two hours, to get my rocks off. Alternatively, I schedule a girl for a couple of hours later and I just don't feel in the mood at the time, I am, at best, losing my deposit and, at worst, getting blocked and blacklisted.
Verdict: Mexico City is not my cup of tea. I'm not patient enough, nor are the majority of girls my type. I find better value in a number of other cities in LatAm. If I had to monger in Mexico, I prefer Guadalajara where between the estheticas and agencies, you can do quite well. The one exception is the Albercadas. These are fun though unfortunately only happen a couple of times a month.
