I will do my best to keep everyone informed and away from the scammers. Yes, 35,000 yen is a lot of money, but this is Japan. And Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. So you have to pay to play in this neck of the woods.The unfortunate reality is that Japan is the worst place in Asia for mongering from a cost/performance standpoint. Unless you have some serious cash and a real hankering for Japanese gals, you are better off saving your money for the bargains in Thailand & PI. Or head over to Korea. LOVELY gals at a very reasonable price. HK and Taiwan are also extremly cheap when compared to Tokyo. AND since you can't get access to 99% of the talent in Japan, it is immensely frustrating. There is a massive sex industry here that I would love to have access to, however the Japanese really don't want our business. Hello! Since Japan has recently tightened its entertainer visa policy and crackedown even more on overstays and illegal entry, the number of foreign providers in Japan is diminishing rapidly. So, don't expect too easy or huge variety (compared to a few years ago) of Eastern European and other asian providers. However the Korean and Fillipino providers have been part of Japan history a long time - so there is still some fresh faces being added and of course since they are more 'embedded' into the community, less likely to be ousted.Your best chance is to find places like Ebisu205, then develop a basic rapport with the owner. He/she will generally recommend you to other such clubs, and especially, private VIP parties after they get to know you.The 'underground' scene in Tokyo is very much alive and well and has huge offering of wonderful participants. I can't say exactly how to get in -- but just develop a good rapport with a more forward facing service is the best start.Also - some of the health services will also provide escort to your hotel. If you use them a few times - then you can ask about 'hotel service'. This is another great way to extend the fun in a more genial surroundings.My advice is to stay away from any Eastern Euro provider in Tokyo. Let?s not let this bullshit continue!!Have to totally agree here. Although I will be new to Japan (hopefully my 1st visit will be in Nov 06), I do know that scams are everywhere. I am more a veteran of Thailand and Singapore and do admit to being scammed in the past(especially if you are new to the places). Many of the Korean massage places in Japan charge 10,000 yen for a 1 hour nude service, wash and massage A course. Some charge more like 15,000 yen B course, which is still okay. Must speak Japanese at these places, but they take foreigners.All we really need are the high salaries and all that free cash given to the Japanese. Then 35,000 yen feels like $35.00 USD.Gyaos

On the south side look for the "Don Quixote" store, a big cheap supermarket-cum-wierd-stuff-shop, has lots of yellow on the facade. Next door to it there is a tall narrow building called "Obayashi Bld", and next to that there is another tall narrow building with a cheap Chinese noodle shop; if you don't read Japanese, it features "390" prominently on the sign. This is the building; look for the staircase on the left, there's a sign just saying "Maple", and just above it one for an Internet place (can't remember whether in Japanese or alphabet). Go up to the third floor (take the lift, the stairs seem to be used for storage), it's the only establishment on that floor.You might want to take a small towel.
