I got many responses for my call for help post. I've been using this post for decades and introduced many senior members to this site. However response from senior members to my post was very poor. I found prices were almost doubled? (compared to last year) Local girls going at average 20 K is this normal? Funny thing is I got offers from this Maheshi girl from 4 members from 10 K, 15 K, 20 K, 25 K. When I called her she was like, its 20 K for in-call, Then when I mention Dxxxxxn gave me your number, she quickly dropped the price to 10 K.

Going rate for seasoned monger like us in BKK is about 100 AUD for couple of hours out-call for superb service.

In Australia its about 150 AUD for quality half an hour.

In comparison SL Local I haven't experienced quality relative to other places.

SL Orientals were good but not good as BKK or similar.

Should We (expats) get these girls for 20 K and ruin the market for everyone else?

This has led to a decrease in supply while demand has remained the same. The result is that freelancers have jacked up their prices. You won't be ruining the market by paying 20 k.

I'm afraid I don't agree with OTB. There are plenty of free lancers offering their services for around 6 to 7 k including the room. Just check Lanka ads. Of course quality of service is altogether a different issue. But even for 20 k there's no guarantee of a good time! I have been using a free lancer for about 3 years now and she charges me 5 k, not a clock watcher (we spend 2 to 3 hours) and gives me a damn good massage as well. So it's hit or miss in this game unless you get a good recommendation.

As usual UL running more than 4 hrs late than scheduled departure, I was looking for a good massage yesterday. So ended up going to a usual spot in Station Road, Mt. Lavinia. This 'Prestige' place got couple of Thai ladies working. Only 'Ammi' was available. 4 K for massage with cream, 4. 5 K with oil for hour. I have chosen oil option, was expecting typical Thai combination massage. However its more like just a Oil massage without any traditional stretching part and done only using palm. No use of knuckles, elbow or feet. After about 40 mins she offered 3 options of her specialties. HJ 2 K, 3 K with touching over the cloths, 4 K for feel the skin. No FS neither she available for FS in after hours.

Overall Damage 6. 5 K.

Massage 5/10.

Actual Time 50/60 mins.

Looks 7/10.

Also checked the other joint in front of this place, no Thai available now. In comparison to AU LKR 8 K for over 8/10 massage for 60 mins 4-6 K for HJ with touch and feel.

I accept that if you have been taking a freelancer for 3 years, she will continue to give good service at a reasonable price.

I'm not promoting Lanka Ads in any way just comparing prices of locals. When you can get a Thai massage, B2 B and FS for a shade under 20 k why pay 20 k for a Local FL? Just my humble opinion!!
