After nearly a 5 month wait from the last time, the journey to the Far East is about to commence. I have some domestic travel that begins tomorrow, then in a week I will board the big bird to fly across the Pacific to Bangkok. I will probably spend a full two weeks in Pattaya before meeting up with my Thai GF for another 2 weeks.
Anyway, I recently made a post about one way to calculate how much money to take to Thailand for mongering. This time, I have decided to post a list of items I take to Thailand with me. I have fined tuned the list to suit my needs over my past 6 trips, but your own personal needs may be quite different. Feel free to add to the list or to modify it for your own needs.
[B]Hygiene[/B]
Deodorant.
Sunscreen (I have great luck with the sprays).
Toothpaste / Tooth brush (bring spares for the guests. The airlines may have some in the bathroom).
Razor / shavecream / spare blades.
Cologne / after shave.
Lubricant.
Condoms (I plan for 2 for each girl I expect to be with, but if you engage in 3-ways, you may need more!
Wash cloth in a zip lock bag (hardly any Thai hotel provides washcloths! You need to bag as it may be wet when you change hotels.).
Spare towel (Thai hotels tend to charge for more than 2 towels a day, and if it is hot and you have a girl over, you may need 4 or 5!
[B]Clothing[/B] This is in addition to what you wear going over.
Sandals and Shoes (You may need shoes, but I wear those going over. Sandles are cooler, so you may want an extra pair and maybe, an extra pair of shoes if you have room.).
Socks (2 pr) (Laundry service is cheap here, so don't take too much clothing!
Underwear (2 - 3 pair).
Pants (0 - 1 extra pair) I only wear long pants on the plane, shorts the rest of the time. But bring an extra pair if you want.
Shorts (2 - 3 pair).
Shirts (4 - 6) (Plan on doing laundry ever 2 to 3 days.).
Swim suit if you think you may go swimming.).
Sleep wear (old T-shirt and?
[B]Medicines[/B]
Ambien for sleeping.
Ibuprofen or Tylenol (Often cheaper in the US.).
Antifungal / antibacterial / anti diarrheal, etc. (Often cheaper in the USA.).
Vitamins (Buy ED drugs in Thailand).
Band aids / Medical Tape (I use the tape to help prevent blisters on my feet).
Chap Stick / breath mints.
[B]Miscellaneous[/B]
Spare glasses or contacts with solution / Reading glasses / Sun Glasses (Bring spares!
Snacks (for when dried seaweed flavored chips just won't do.).
Books to read on airplane.
Shopping Bags (for dirty laundry).
Ziplock Bags (for spare coins, to carry small bottles of lube so they won't leak in your shorts.).
Scissors / Fingernail clippers.
Passport / Copy of Passport (With no passport, you won't be going anywhere but back home.).
Copy of Your Itinerary (So you can keep track of reservations, hotel addresses and phone numbers, etc.).
[B]Electronics[/B]
Cell phone, charger (s) / charging cable, SIM card from your last trip.
Travel Headset w / spare batteries / neck pad.
Umbrella / cheap plastic rain coat (2).
Camera.
-- with charger / spare battery, spare mem cards / lens cleaning kit.
-- Extra lenses (/ Strap / tripod / Flash / battery / charger.
Laptop.
-- Mouse (w / fresh battery and spare) / backup drive / charger and cable.
Noise Machine (It can cover over outside noises, to include a snoring lady).
Small Flashlight.
Magnet (so you can keep the AC running in those rooms with a magnetic dongle).
Cash.
Set up online USPS Hold Mail request.
Credit Card (s), and notify credit card companies of foreign travel (Chase doesn't need it, but some do).
Set up a trip message on your cell phone prior to headng out.
--set phone to Airplane Mode prior to leaving to avoid foreign roaming charges!
Pay bills before departing and note any bills that will become due while gone.
--I have a ton of user names and passwords, so have a way to remember them all while gone.
Stop newspaper, etc.
Turn off utilities as appropriate.
Consider:
-- Snorkling equipment (but those fins can get heavy!
-- Gifts or sexy clothing you can ask the girls to wear.
-- Lists of clubs or places you want to visit. It can get hectic when you are on the ground and you forget things!

Man I thought I planned everything to a t but wow man you are thorough! I do like the idea of being prepared but you have some things I wouldn't even think of. You are correct with ghe amount of clothes and spare toothbrushes and ysually bring my own pharamacy as well and usuallg my own vitamin V but I may try some of the local stuff this time. I did take a laptop last time but it proved to be excess weight.
How long do you stay? I usually stay only a week or so as getting away from the wife can be difficult.

Good job Hawk. I have a few suggestions to add.
Hygiene / Toiletries: I wouldn't bother with the towel and washcloth. Too heavy and use too much room. Great suggestion about extra toothbrushes for the girls. On a recent trip a FL used my toothbrush without asking when we finished. Grossed me out.
Clothing: Highly recommend moisture wicking clothes. I like the Reebok and Adidas polo shirts and tees but be sure to get something that works. When I'm done packing my clothes, I'll try to cram in some older, junky clothes in my suitcase and throw them away after one use. I use these trips to discard some of my older stuff.
Shoes: To avoid foot problems and blisters I wear two pairs of sneakers on alternating days. I also bring along one pair of sandals. Total of 2 sneakers and one pair of sandals.
Socks: 6 pair. Stuff them in my spare shoes during travel.
Pants: 2 long pants and 2-3 pairs of shorts. I wear the long pants at night.
Underwear: 6 pair. I think your recommendation here is a little light. Especially since most laundries need a day or two to return the clothes.
Shirts: No dress shirts. 3 moisture wicking polos and 2-3 t-shirts.
Medicines: I bring travel sized Tylenol, band aids, cold pills, polysporin.
Electronics / others: I don't bring a noise machine or flashlight or bother with a camera. My Samsung Note8 takes good pics. I buy a cheap umbrella in Thailand when needed.
Other stuff: I scan a copy of my driver license, passport, and phone numbers to report lost credit cards and email that to me. I keep in my email if needed. I also bring a few extra paper copies of my passport with me. My trips are longer these days. Will arrive Thailand in July for about 5 weeks.

Deodorant.[/QUOTE]I guess this should be in the general forum but it isn't so here goes anyway. That's a lot of stuff you carry around but it's nice to have everything one needs when on the road. I'll go down the list and add a few things.
Towels and wash cloth? My wife does the wash cloth thing because she doesn't trust the hotel's towels. A waste of space in my book. To each his own.
Clothing you forgot hats. I always forget enough belts.
Medicines, pretty good, everything I need is in my small hygiene bag. I like my own shower soap too.
Misc. I guess you mean airplane snacks. Bags for laundry I get there. The other stuff spot on.
Electronics, you forgot big Cadillac vibrator. Flash Light is a good idea. My passcodes are in my notes (iPhone) and are coded so that only I can read them. Everything else you list is my style as well.
For me I take lingerie, stockings, bikinis, (or buy them there), ponytail bands, (some guys bring eye makeup for the BG), disposable shower caps for my BFs, and toothbrushes for same.
If you don't want to carry several cheap toothbrushes you can do my little trick. Have a new toothbrush in it's original plastic plastic cover. As you're walking towards your BG you push the toothbrush through one end of the plastic poking a hole and the toothbrush comes through that hole. Later when the BG is gone get the long plastic cover, get the toothbrush and rinse it and then put it back through the hole you made. Keep it until you need it again and do the same thing. As your walking toward or going to hand the toothbrush to her first push it out the same hole as if it was new. This way you only need one toothbrush for multiple BGs. The ladies love it. It's fun being sneaky.
As for toiletries I bring tweezers, a good 10 x 10" mirror, nail clippers, other items include, utility knife, good knife and fork, sometimes my own ground coffee w / plastic drip cone and paper filters, chocolate suckers from See's Candy, cork screw, toothpicks, now I use those plastic floss picks, styptic pencil for face nicks, cotton swabs, a good wireless speaker for romancing and my local radio which I have the apps on my phone, plane pillow. I know there's more.
So in the end I guess I bring to much too. One thing I bring is my home TV which entails having Sling box. That's huge for me. Anyway, cheerio!

I would do both Brazil but your money will go further in the kingdom. If you like low cost long time with a provider Thailand is the way. To go. 2 months ago I was paying the Dominicanas to leave after the session. The downside is the baht is strong this year. The Peruvian chick I hired in POP was beyond lazy and greedy. Finally if you like dates, safety, and longtime do Thailand first.
Stayed at LK empress for 5 days late March. Single pick ups surrendered their ID's at reception. Threesome trysts were brought in via the side mini-mart and straight to the elevator serving the rear hotel wing. Nice hotel, price appropriate, ideal location. Weird breakfast faire such as roast duck, fried battered fish bites etc.
I keep making the same mistake in Pattaya of drinking and getting socially acquainted with bar staff on main thoroughfare's such as Soi 8 beach road and the strip of boxing bars on the way through to the beer garden restaurant. Every time I passed by on subsequent occasions I was recognised and sort of guilt into buying a drink and worse, funding a lady drink.
Beach road provided substantial variety as ever. I managed on average two pickups and one evening threesome per day. I found that having an initial single transaction within a 'safe' hotel environment paved the way for them willing to bring in their friend for the next round.
Price 750 bt st, 1000 bt extra curricular activity. 1500 bt each for threesome with extra curricular activity. Use your imagination.
I have found the variety changes profoundly daily on beach road. Ladies who I saw one day where absent for the rest of the week. I figure they are simply getting an amount of cash that suites their needs for the given time, as opposed to a permanent attendance.
The preferred selection for me were to be found between the Hilton and Soi 13.
I do not visit Pattaya with the idea of scoring the prettiest gogo starfish for 5000 baht for an hour of uncertain outcomes. Slim and trim is my preferred penchant. They all look the same from the back with the lights dimmed anyhow!
Observed quite a few African's strutting their booty (not my thing in Thailand). The odd Muslim (hooker with hijabs (I don't understand this concept of hooking religious modesty).
It was as ever interesting and somewhat depressing to see packs (10-15) of central Asian punters going about their special brand of monkey business in propositioning ladies for gang 'parties'. Far from being an isolated observation, I was saddened to think that gang participation (hopefully unforced) is their pinnacle fantasy, or maybe they simply don't like to be alone?

Insomnia restaurant (Waterside) provides a calm setting away from the adjacent madness of walking street.
Nam's lady taxi (1200 baht to and from airport) is my preferred way to arrive and depart Pattaya alive. Google it.

I can't drink singa all the time these days. I've taken to imbibing more JW black and coffee. Less bloated for action!
Massage parlors down the Soi's 12-13's proved good for daytime activity. They wanted (and got) 1000 bt for a finish of your choice).
On the subject of massage, be aware. In Bangkok Nana I was bait and switched late at night, choosing a tidy masseuse from the shop front, only to be switched with a rugged looking ladyman in the cubicle. I went with it but politely declined the offer of extras!
