You are right in deciding freelancers are the way to go since the go go girls all want about 4 K and up for LT if they will even go. I would suggest you ditch the walking street scene as it seems your luck or stigma has got the better of you. Move to We chat, Thai Friendly, Skout, Badoo. You will find loads of freelancers there. I don't know why but it seems we get these requests every week. As you pointed out girls are everywhere. Recommendations are fairly worthless since different people have different tastes in girls. In the bars/strip clubs the least you will get a chick for is $60 ($80 max - although they may ask $100 negotiate), then you will have to pay for the room (usually $10) wherever you go. It's safe in front the the bars / strip joints. As you walk away from them, then it gets sketchy, but not that bad because the place is crowded (talking about normal RLD hours). But you have to consider that it's the Red Light District in Mexico. Most RLDs in the world can be sketchy, especially for Mexico. IMO, I would be more leery of Mexico than other countries because the police might not be there to protect you if things go south.
