So this is a good question I think, something about which I have no idea. What options are there in Centro for more upscale rooms with safes, working A/C, and such? I'm guessing there can't be many options because the demand isn't likely very high. Maybe we can start a new market for it.

If you live in the Eastern / middle USA, I wouldn't advise Thailand unless you have at least two weeks. Also, what type of women do you like? Do you prefer Asians or Latinas? I tell you what decides it for me, Medellin is 3-1/3 HR flight from Florida for $300+ on Spirit. Or $200+- on VivaCombia or $500+- on American.

Bangkok is 29 hrs +- and $1200+- and Spanish is easier to learn to me. From West coast might be a little cheaper and a few less hours on plane to Thailand. But still more then I like.

That being said Asia is safer crime-wise.

I don't know Thai prices but Colombian girls start at $10 and up.
