I would absolutely agree Bogota is better. The only thing Medellin has over weather and that is smaller so it's easier to get around. And to answer your question about Asia or Latin America. Latin America is the clear winner. You can find girls with body types like Asians in Latin America. You will rarely find a woman that looks like a Latina in Asia. You can get girlfriend experience in both. An abundance of beautiful women in both. Each culture adds it's own twist but both will leave you satisfied. Almost all girls there speak 'some' English. In Colombia only one out of 100 and trust me, it's no fun with 0 communication.

If you live in the Western Hemisphere, Colombia is a hell of a lot easier to get to, though not proportionally cheaper unless you live in South Florida. DFW to MDE was like 7 hours total versus 25 hours to the Land of Smiles. If you are in Europe, probably the transit times might not be so different. I don't know where you are coming from and won't make assumptions.

As far as pure fun, Thailand takes the prize. Probably much more to see and do overall, crime is not a big concern, and in some places the action is really in your face. A big factor should be whether you prefer pretty Latinas versus pretty Asians. I've got "yellow fever" at the moment and if you go to Thailand you might contract the same affliction.

Colombia has its merits though and I would like to return soon. The action is very much behind closed doors there, and you don't really get to see what your choices are till you get there. If you have little time and are in North America, I think Colombia is a great option, and I plan to return myself. But if I have time away from the job, I will be heading to Asia, as I am in a few days.
