I am an absolute wally I didn't check the weather in Guangzhou & dressed like I was in KL. I just flew in from Oz via Kl and with a short sleeved shirt shorts & shoes hailed a cab from my hotel & hit the K* club. I won't mention the name you all know what it is and as you read on you will understand why. I arrived a bit early to what could only be described as the sausage club it was 10 pm the beer was as dear as poison and the room was full of guys all looking around at each other. Ummmm it was 10 pm & I decided to give it another hour a girl to arrive. Around 10.30 the music stopped and there was a murmur in the crowd as 10 police walk in, I'm laughing right now what they gunna do arrest me for sitting in a bar with 50 blokes, they do a tour around then leave. Everybody is now laughing. Then some even bigger smiles appear as 10 minutes later the place fills up with girls. Now this is what I read about, I settle in order another beer & think about robbing a bank later to pay for my drinks. Well I know what I want so I head off he then hits me up for money, I ask him is he going to drive me home, he shook his head and I walked away. And that was the end of it, met the young Vietnamese girl out front, jump in a cab & its off to my hotel. Absolute GFE experience, I had a busy day but went LT. Has Guangzhou recovered from the crackdown or its still reeling under the aftermath. Not much has been posted on here. I was heading there on month end and was doing some research. So needed some help to know if am in the right direction. Got a few wechat IDs. Most of them quoted 1200-1500 rmb for a HR also have a offer of 2500 for the night. I understand these are on the higher side. Could anyone tell me what would be the going rates for the FLs, KTV girls or even massages. Have been RTFF but the posts get outdated rather quickly.

Expect a fat lady in her 40's.

For the rest, no idea.

I am sharing my personal experience- with due respect to others that might not agree with me.
I have been traveling to China for many years. For several years I attempted to get some upscale providers but it was always bait and switch. Then on one occasion I was sent to my room a girl who barely looked legal. I immediately asked her to leave. Since then I never made any attempt in China. Girls that you meet in hotel lobby are also scam as they will take you out on rip-off spree starting with a $200 tea ceremony.

Taojin lu is very famous. Its just back side of Baiyun hotel. Taojin subway metro. Keep walking beside friendship mall and you will reach KFC. Its before KFC.

I stayed in ChangAn and went to a KTV there. All in all quite dead.
Thanks for the input, guys. I could always try the doorman method. That often yields "results" though rarely stellar and not inexpensive.
If I find anything worthwhile I'll share my intel with my fellow Panyu travelers.
