I would go to Parkway Health. Their phone number is 6445-5999 and they have about seven locations in Shanghai. They also speak English. Cost is going to be higher than a local doctor (which I have never gone to) but they're good and you can at least explain clearly what you want to them.

I've been primarily using a trusted service when the need takes me and I don't want to try hitting up some freebies at one of the local bars. Its expensive though, 2500 for overnight, but the girls that are available are amazingly good and its always easy to deal with. Also, the girls can arrive at your door whenever, I've sometimes ordered one up at 6 just for a quick dinner date before the bedroom activities.

As far as hotels go, I haven't had any problems, but most five stars I've stayed at will require the girl to register and show her ID when you bring her up to your room. With the crackdown here, this might be a bit of a problem. In order to prevent this, I've been having them arrive early, like before 7 so no one needs to register, and just ordering room service if we need anything or get hungry.

Its just off of Yan An Road, about 5-10 min cab from jing an temple. They have various forms of Hiv test, the hiv dna test, the fast test and the long test. I had a bit of a freak out a couple years back, I can't remember the exact price, but none of the test cost more then 150 rmb, and pay the little extra cash for the VIP department. I think the test of everything under the sun is 3-400 rmb, I don't remember exactly.

Hua Shan Hospital just off of Urumuqi Lu also does STD testing, clinic is at end of the hall on 3rd floor. Fast hiv test is I think 50 rmb, and long hiv test is also 50 as well if I remember correctly, this was all about a year and a half ago since I was going to get checked due to freak out. And if you go early you get your results in about an hour but there is a bit of a queue. Weird thing is when your waiting in that queue you will see 60-70 year old Chinese men and women also getting hiv test, LOL, gee I wonder why. Its not something you see everyday.

Both these places are easily accessible, and you don't have to pay 10x the price at parkway health.
