Dude! Lest you forget? Who the fuck would want to travel to Scotland for the Scottish women? Or, for that matter, women in the UK or Ireland? Ok, maybe the Irish would travel to Scotland and maybe Londoners too?
Not the Scandinavians! Not the Spanish! Not the Dutch! Certainly not the French! The Arabs use a different modus operandi! Etc, etc, etc. As Yul Brynner would say in the King and I. !
So, in conclusion, your example is off the wall! Sorry! LOL! And RIP! .
Well, I think I know why YOU don't travel to Scotland for the Scottish women! ROFLMAO!
There are Thai women and African women in Scotland and men travel to those countries. And Donald Trump's father married a Scottish woman.
There are Thai women and African women in Scotland and men travel to those countries. And Donald Trump's father married a Scottish woman.
I can attest that Scottish women were (are) hot.
I was a lowly apprentice working in the rough opencast coal mining fields in those days, the late 50's, so my comments about it being dangerous applied only to the working class pubs. We weren't exactly meeting literate, jovial, Robbie Burns spouting, bagpipe playing, kilt wearing characters.
So we did what young horny guys do, waited till our project filled up with imported laborers, steelworkers, and then we took over the local pubs, and did get to go to the dances, even if we had to walk out with our backs to the door.
That's where we met the sweet young lassies, a couple of which I can never forget!
No slouches, one turned me on to Sam Cooke. She played the 45 "You send me" and the reverse, "Summertime" over and over again.

Hey Pooter 50?
No, I think that is disgusting. Sixty years age difference. Maximum should be fifty. 47 is just right.
My colombiana novia of 18 months is 49 years younger than me, but I think you are jokingly saying 60 is disgusting. Are you not going to trade in your 20 something when she turns 30+ for another 20 something?

It is weird to hear someone saying that some women in some specific place are not worth it. I never have been to Africa (and I would love to. Both Anglophone and Francophone countries) but otherwise, can't find a single place under god's earth, where women were that "bad".
My colombiana novia of 18 months
A novia of 18 months? Get off this board, you pervert!
Are you not going to trade in your 20 something when she turns 30+ for another 20 something?
That is more than two years away. I doubt if I will still be around to make that decision.
But at the moment, I would not want to change. It takes a long time to train these girls into gringo-acceptable ways. Besides, I am very fond of her and, even more, or her two children.
You are giving too much credit to characters like these by creating a separate thread. This person, whether he was a good or bad guy, his modus operandi and so forth, it is just not worth dwelling on, to my mind.
Sorry about that, but there's a point to be made here, which is that touts, whether selling pills in a bar, promoting travel on the internet, are only ever there to hustle a buck. That nice friendly guy persona is part of the deal which allows them to be successful at it.
I just saw this now from Cerebro here, and its all you need to know about Cuba Dave.
He's even trying to hustle a buck from getting arrested LOL.
***This is the only link I found on Cubadave's website. Apparently he is asking for help if that site is his and nobody is trying to profit from his situation. Please note I'm not endorsing nor denying the validity of this site. I'm just sharing it because it seems to have more information about his awful situation.

Of course this comes from your friendly guru that "advises" mongers, how not to get scammed by putas. His supporters will probably send it by Western Union, too.
Too fucking much! Lol

Too fucking much! Lol
I offer my two cents on this discussion.
I had heard of CD about a year ago (from a press article) on the net and found his site. I also recall reading his bio (probably from the article).
Seems he got initiated into mongering only a few years ago in Cuba (hence the CD nickname).
He got hooked on it and started traveling frequently, and an internet-savvy buddy showed him how to create a 'blog' to finance his travels.
CD would travel and gather material, and his buddy would upload the material and manage the blog. They would also create and market other items on the blog, sell advertising, etc.
This is actually no different than a lot of people have done, monetizing a blog, and a lot of articles have been written on "how to finance your travels blogging. ".
Now that he's likely to have big legal bills, its only normal that the blog would be used to solicit contributions for his legal expenses.
The idea of financing his traveling / mongering with a blog is actually pretty clever; something most of us wish we could do (IMO).
His fatal error was being too high profile, and being personally linkable to the site.
I have noted other websites touting sex tourism for DR, Costa Rica, Colombia, etc, doing essentially the same thing.
His "advice" or "expertise" is a separate issue, and commentary from anyone needs to be taken with a grain of salt; everyone has their own opinion.
He was essentially writing about his opinion (like the posters to this forum) and posting them into a blog; - and we have seen on this forum how opinions vary.
I have nothing against the guy, will wish him luck in his troubles.
(Imagine if "Dominican Billy" had started a DR blog "back in the day. ".

"Sex Related Criminal Law in General.
The age of consent in Costa Rica is 18 for both men and women and that includes gay or heterosexual interaction.
If anyone is thinking about coming to Costa Rica because they heard it was a good place to have relations with children, I would think again.
The government here does not tolerate it, nor do the people, and there is a very active enforcement effort to eradicate it. You will never know if the person you are talking to is undercover, and there are really good sting operations that net a lot of these people each year. Fool around with kids, and you may never go home.
Costa Rica uses an antiquated version of Napoleonic law. In Costa Rica, the law is not "innocent until proven guilty" as in the US and many other countries. Here, it is more like "innocent for now, but you are still going to jail, without bail, for a year or so while we prove you ARE guilty".
I am not joking here. Those accused (I. E. Not convicted) of crimes are held in "preventative detention" (I. E. A nasty prison), for up to a year or longer, without bond, while the police and prosecutor build their case against them.
This covers ANY criminal activity in Costa Rica, regardless of how petty YOU may think it is.
Think twice before you do anything here that makes you eligible for extending your vacation in this manner.
No, the US Embassy will not be able to get you out. ".

and, a poster here who is offering opinions and advice out of a genuine interest and regard for our hobby, mongering and, in my case, Sosua.
Getting deported from several countries, and arrested at airports, finishing up in jail, begging for a W.U. handout, hardly qualifies him as a successful blogger.
I think it should be a warning, rather than just a hard luck story about a nice guy who just happens to meet intolerant corrupt cops and politicians.
(just my opinion)
Costa Rica uses an antiquated version of Napoleonic law.
How can you have "an antiquated version of Napoleonic law"? Napoleonic law is antiquated per se. You can have a modernized version of it (and many countries do, including, I would strongly suspect, Costa Rica) but you cannot have an antiquated version.

It is not a lot to ask.
