A little help please. From what I'm reading here it's close to 200 USD to grab a girl from a bar. I can't imagine Thailand being as popular as it is with that kind of pricing, am I reading something wrong? That's USA pricing practically. If I go to the bar there, have a couple drinks, get a girl a couple drink, and take her back what is the night going to most likely run me? I was thinking about jumping up for a weekend from the Philippines but from the quick scan I've done the cost is too out there.

First off there are tons of ways to get laid in Pattaya. You are asking specifically about bars though. Then the question comes: what type of bar? Beer bar, blow job bar, Soi 6 bar, agogo bar, gentlemen's club?

If you go into a top agogo bar then you can very well spend that much money. Personally, I have never met a pussy that I wanted to spend even half that on. But in Thailand you have to pay a fee to the bar for the girl to leave with you, then you have to pay the girl. The bars that I would go to you would pay a bar fine of from 300-500 baht and no more than 1500 baht Long Time for the girl (I usually have no problem getting them down to 1000 baht.) So generally speaking you are looking at $60 plus add another $20 for those drinks you want to buy. ($46 for me because being the Cheap Charlie that I am, I am going to talk them down and I am not buying any drinks.) You can contrast this with a post FL Hawk made a couple of weeks on What's Up agogo bar where he spent $250.

Remember that this is in Pattaya. In Bangkok it is going to cost you more.

Back home as everyone likes to say, we don't meet P4 P ladies in bars, at least I didn't. I went to incalls or massage parlors. If you want to calculate the cost of drinks and food into it, then why not calculate your flight, taxi, and hotel as well? Look it's very simple. If you go to a bar, it's an evening out and there will be extra costs involved over and above the cost of the girl. If you only want to pay for a girl, the bars are not the place for you. Cost of girls only:

High end freelance: 4,000-6,000 Baht ST

Go go bar: Bar fine 700 Baht avg, 2,500ST avg=3,200 Baht.

Massage parkour: 1,500-2,500 Baht depending on location.

Beer bar: Bar fine 300 Baht avg, 1,500ST avg= 1,800.

Soi 6 Bar: 1000 Baht. 300-400 for the ST room=1,400 Baht.

Freelance: 1,500ST for a decent looking girl from Insomnia, Thai Friendly, or We chat.

Beech road ugly fugly: 500-1000 Baht.

In the end, if you go to a bar, you must pay for drinks for you and the girl, including if you go to Insomnia bar. Who would go to a bar without buying drinks anyway? Guys, its a bar, thats their main source of income. So if you don't want to buy drinks to inflate the cost, choose another option. It's Pattaya and there are plenty. I may have left out a few other options such as gentlemen’s clubs and blow job bars. Even BJ bars and soi 6 will have drinks available.

So, if you don’t want to buy drinks, go to massage parlors or contact freelancers on beech road, we chat, Thai Friendly or even just walk around the streets or shopping malls and talk with the ladies. Common sense guys!!!!

I'm more of a hang out at a bar and drink type so when the drinks end up being ridiculously priced it turns me off. Del Rey is still one of my favorite places. So if I'm in Philippines and want to go somewhere close to try a new spot, cheap and fun, do you have any suggestions? I've heard Vietnam once but done no research. I know the sites where I can get it for free and plan ahead, but I'm not looking to do that.

The bars are perfectly happy to sell that to me as the margins are higher. I realize it's silly to pay 150-180 baht for water but see it as the price of admission to the GoGos and gladly pay it to avoid alcohol overload. Some of the best / healthiest girls order soda water / milk as their lady drink realizing that they can't go hard on alcohol long-term (these seem to be the ones that age well, 555).

I'm finding not many tourists in the streets or in the beer bars. Girls are calling to me for the first time in several years, I'm a septa-something. Quality isn't terrible, some gems among lots of seriously old and undoables IMO. Haven't visited go-gos yet. Excite still relatively ok but no young innocents there. Some ok around Soi Buakhao massage parlors.

Thanks![/QUOTE]No it is not on Soi Diana. It is on 2nd Rd. There are either 2 or 3 parlours right next to each other just opposite the alley from Kiss. It is the one furthest from Kiss. It is less than about 20 meters away from Kiss, so don't stray too far. But if you want a HJ, it is best to go to Soi Chaiyapoon.
