Can someone help me with her name she is a dyed blond speaks decent english. Age: Id say low to mid 30's I could see some wrinkles near the eyes once in the room. My experience wasnt all that prob a 6 out of 10,talked the talk but didnt walk the walk Ill stick to the SW's next time.

This is true. As much as we'd like to think that AB or most of the clubs there are fuck factories. It really still depends on the girl, yourself, and the situation. Its safe to assume that yes most girls are going to squeeze what they can out of you. But from experience, I've met a good number of girls that were cool to talk to, down to just sit with you with no pressure. and I barely even speak spanish to really strike up a detailed conversation.
I'm no Country John, but I've been going to the ZONA since 1999, with a good 50-60 trips so far. In the beginning, as a newbie, I did get a few so-so service along with the top notch services. Now adays, the last 20 visits I've been lucky to find the ones that give the best service and it actually just keeps getting better everytime. Some repeats, but mostly because of making friends with certain girls and they recommend other ones to go with. Referrals are the best. The service you get when you ask another girl who you know to refer one of their friends has been one of the best things we've learned going to AB.
On another note:
Our crew(the usual friends I go with) may not do the typical visit like most of you. We've developed the [b]In-N-Out method[/b] to limit the time spent trying to figure out which chick to pick. One rule we stick with is: Do Not Second Guess, if you keep going back and forth with 2, 3, to even 4 or more girls, you're never going to be able to choose and the ones you want will get picked and you wont get your chance. We call it the [b]Quick Pick[/b]. You have to make one of the fastest decisions to pick the girl. you cant dwell on numerous ones the whole night. There are so many, do one tonight, and you'll get your chance with the others another nite. :)
My advice is do the [b]Swing around[/b](going around the whole bar 1 time and check out whats around. Usually by the first swing, I've got who I want and I'm ready to go up within 5-10 minutes

Yeah, Carlos my good friend has it right. Latinos know how to talk to the girls. Americanos know how to negotiate. With negotiations, the focus is money, dollars and cents. The girls have LOTS of practice at that so they tend to be rather good at it and not focus on the sex when they feel they don't need to. The right way to go (IMHO), is the sex becomes the negotiation and the money follows.

I remember reading on this or one of the other boards that the Tijuana policia have taken driver's licenses from guys after searching them. I figured if I'm going to lose mine to a search, let it be the old one. I never thought of how suspicious it looked. The customs guys at the U.S. entry point didn't say anything about it. I figured if they asked why I was using my expired D/L, I would just tell them my current one is in my hotel room stateside and show them my passport. But the idea of the policia suspecting something about an expired D/L is something to think about. Thanks Country John. Hope to have a beer you sometime.

It would be a pleasure to share a beer with you.
The idea is to give the cops NOTHING to be suspicious about. Expired paperwork is technically not valid paperwork. You are probably right, they'd never pick up that it was expired but it only takes one guy to get it right and if he does, the has cause to detain you for "further investigation." The question of the day would be "why is this guy presenting an expired drivers license as an ID?" "Who is he?" "Is it forged?" etc. etc. You get my drift.
Cops do not keep drivers licenses. Always ask for it back. If you don't get it back, then get to the DMV and replce it.
Better yet, get to the DMV now and get a duplicate, tell them you lost the original. that way you have TWO current and valid driver's licenses. My license is being renewed at this time, a week after I get it, I'll request another; just to be on the safe side.

On the U.S. side there is a bridge over the freeway that allows pedestrians to get back and forth from the west side (where you enter Mexico) and the east side (where you exit Mexico). This bridge is patrolled by contract security guards and it's perfectly safe. On the Mexican side if you walk past the Yellow cab stand you'll find a bridge over the Tijuana river that leads toward the Zona Norte. This is where muggers lurk. You should never walk from the border to the Zona or back. Take a taxi instead.
Haven't been to TJ in about two years. Imagine my suprise when I walk into a (relatively) clean, (relatively) well-lit, (relatively) stylish club?

I am new to this forum and live in Southern California. I want to go to Adelitas. But I will most likely make the trip alone becuase most people I know don't want to pay for it, and are not very adventourous. I have been looking on different boards before I found this one and I read alot of reports about tj cops harassing foriegners. Even read reports saying that said zona norte is extremely dangerous. I read a travel book at barnes and nobles that said it is a smuglers haven and prostitutes haven. Off course the prostitutes is why I want to go. SO I was hoping that someone can give me some pointers on how to stay safe while there. I am asking becuase even though I am mexican(from u.s.) I still have a very light complection and doubt I could blend very well. add to that Very limited knowledge of spanish. didn't talk spanish growing in my house. Also I am currently studying spanish off of cd's and some websites.

Well I've only been going to the zona for about 10-11 months now. Check out the website "www.sexatlas.com"; it's a good resource for planning your trip. Navigate to the "Mexico" section and then to the "Tijuana" section and there you'll find various articles. The article "Brockton O'Toole's TJ FAQ" is very helpful. It gives a complete, security-minded protocol for planning a TJ trip; especially if you have to go by yourself for the first time. This site also has some spanish vocabulary that will help you communicate and expedite making deals with the girls. There are also some trip reports on this site; most of which were reported in the late 1990's. However, these stories are still good to read through if you have time. I was TJ-phobic for a long time; just until last year. I go solo every 2 to 4 weeks now. And I had been missing out. Anyways, that's a good place to start.

CaliDave - Welcome to the Forum. You are so right about most people not being very adeventurous. Yes, TJ can be dangerous, but take that with a grain of salt. You can have a fun time there, and still be safe. First and foremost, try to blend in and not look too conspicuous - avoid short pants, dressing like a gringo in general, and leave the fanny pack at home.
Your first few trips down, I advise leaving the car north of the border. Park the car and leave $20 under the floor mat. Then take $20 and put it in your shoe or sock, or somewhere safe. This is just in case la policia take your money. Before you leave your car, make sure you are carrying NO weapons or drugs of any kind. Even nail scissors or Tylenol can get you in trouble with la policia - if you're not carrying anything, they might hassle you but you will be fine.
After you cross, take your first right and exit the turnstiles. From there, cross the street and take a taxi to la zona. You can take a yellow taxi for about $5 or you can follow the locals to the Taxi Libre stand. Taxi Libres are about $3 to la zona, but you walk past the yellow taxis to get to them. Expect to be solicited by the yellow taxi drivers, but just say "No, gracias" and keep walking if you don't want to ride with them. Once you get in a taxi, sit in the front and tell the driver: "Adelitas, por favor". If he tells you that AB is "closed" or some BS story, either repeat the directions or bail out and get another taxi. He is only trying to take you to a massage parolr, for which he receives a kickback.
Once you get to AB, go inside. Don't linger outside on your first trip. Once you're in there, you'll know what to do (wink, wink). Just order a beer and have fun. Oh, yeah - don't forget to negotiatie with the girls. If they sense you are a newbie, the price will go up to $70. Counter with $50, and most girls will take it. Do not ever pay more than $60 for any girl, at any time. If you do, you are being taken advantage of and raising the prices for all of us.
Once you are done with AB, and get the feel of the place, you can walk around the zone. Exit AB, turn right (that's CC kitty corner from AB), turn right again, then a final right - now you are in the alley - and you can visit all kinds of fun places - Miami, Hong Kong La Valentina to name a few. It's OK to walk in the zone, just walk with purpose and don't linger. Go inside a bar. Don't walk outside the zone your first few trips, and don't get too loaded. It's easy to drink too much with 2x1 beer in la zona!
If you get stopped by the police, be polite, show them ID and let them search you. If you are clean - no weapons or drugs - they will let you go most of the time. Take a taxi back to the border when you are done. And finally - carry your own condoms from the US, just as a precaution. Just exercise common sense and common courtesy (remember that you are a foreigner) and you will be fine. Have fun

When in Tijuana just use common sense as you would in any city when you travel. Read the section about crime and safety in Tijuana.

So, I had my first trip to Tijuana during Spring Break (I'm a lowly research assistant at a state university trying to finish a degree, so I'm quite poor).
Anyway, I first arrived on a monday, it was slow, and being a newbie, I spent my first $60 on what wound up being a pretty prefunctory experience (albeit no worse than what I've sometimes paid much more for in nearby Nevada).
But the second girl I found...great Caesar's ghost.
Sonya (sic?) from Chihuahua. Put her tongue in places I didn't know had nerves...great GFE.
When I came back through after visiting a friend, I couldn't find her, and wound up just sampling a few street girls (reasonable value...second one was authentically pretty).
Anyway, I'm going back this Monday and I had a few questions for the regulars.
1. Am I likely on a Monday night to be able to get an all-night room at the hotel above Adelitas? I got one last time, but the second time through, I couldn't get a room for the second night.
2. How the hell do I go about tracking down this girl again? Do I tip a waiter and hope he knows who the hell she is? Do I just hang around and hope? After subtracting overhead (gas, room, drinks, food, taxi, parking), I've got about $140 USD, so if I can't find her, I can find something.
I've read the board and seen a lot of interesting ideas on how to find/create the GFE experience I'm looking for. Does anybody have any reco's?

You shouldn't have any problem getting a room on Monday night, you need to check in earlier in the day ,but if AB gets super crowded is more difficult to get a room even on Mondays or Tuesdays.

You can start by asking her what's her working schedule, or return the same day and time you might find her again.
