Work will not let me go until probably May;that will be their winter.

Hey guys ... had a stopover in Curacao a couple nights ago ... on a Sunday.

Went to Campo with a buddy ... entered at about 10pm ... about $6 (US) to enter.

Seemed to be about 75 chicas or so hanging out either in the main bar area or near the rooms.

I would love to hear how things are going at my favorite Caribbean retreat. I have visited Curacao on five different occasions but haven't been back since December, 2003. I have been concerned about just how this fabulous place is doing after reading about some of its problems in 2004. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

You know its kinda' funny when you go somewhere like Colombia or Honduras and separate these girls - you can get them to pose for photos but when you go to a "one-stop" shopping center like Campo its real tough.

They sit around in the restaurant or in the common areas like a little "sewing-circle" and compare notes and experiences and one of the taboo subjects is photos!

With the dawning of the age of the internet these photos definitely get around, and when 4 out of 5 of these girls tell their families that they're in Curacao working as a waitress or in the food service industry, none of them want anything to leak out.

Was out at the stomping grounds last evening and I can say that things are relatively normal. However in the past week a couple of the

From my experience Campo has been great in summer. You can always find something you like.

The girls are from DR and Colombia.

Everybody in Curacao knows about Campo. It is next to the airport, you can see it on the local map (Campo Allegre). At night you'll see lights from the road going to the airport from east. Do not hesitate to ask locals, they are very friendly and very positive about this:-)

You will be pleasantly surprized of how the girls' attitude and performance is different from Amsterdam where you usually get a very "business-like" service with a list of restrictions (you got only 10 min 30 sec, no touching, no boobs, only one position, only one kind of sex..:-) And I think Germany is even worse than Amsterdam.

In Campo the price is twice lower, everything is included, no rush, girl-friend experience, real-like love, mucho amore... The girls are trying to enjoy as much as you do! You also need to know some nice words in Spanish.

What if you wanted to spend one week in Aruba and one week in Curacao. Both Dutch Islands. From the map they to not look far apart. What transportation is available? Boat, Air? Does anyone have information about cost and schedules?

I'm not sure if there are boats (there could be some). The popular way is to take a plane. I've done it several times. They fly several times a day, cost about $120+/-. and takes half an hour.

I was not impressed by Campo at all.

I rented a car at airport. Made left turn when exiting the airport. Campo is near the airport but not that near. You have to pass the Budget rental car place and Airport casino. On your left side, you will see a huge green light in a distance. Then you make the first left turn.

When you enter the place, the doorman will search you. However, I have no problem to bring my camera phone (I left it in my pocket) every time I visited it. I paid 10 GD to get in. In certain night of week (I forget which night), ladies are welcomed in the Campo. When my Colombia buddy brought his girlfriend one night, we did have some problems to get her in. However, after talked to the doorman let me. We only pay 10 GD for her also.

Most of girls are below 3. I will not touch them under any condition. I was very disappointed. I went there for 5 days in a row. Some nights I was there at 6PM and other nights at 12AM. It was very hard to find someone attractive. In 5 days, I probably saw every girl working there. There are maybe 7-8 girls above 5. Of these 7-8 girls, one is a 8. I think she is the best looking one at this place. She works no stop. If I remember correctly, her room is #146. She is from Cali. Passionate DFK and CBJ. She refused to take a picture. Ticketing area is hot as hell and the departure lounge is cold as ice. The flights were nice.

Curacao is not yet a touristy place. There are a few hotels downtown in Willemstad and a hotel and beach area at Piscadara bay. The best beaches are west of town towards Westpunt. That was a 100-kilometer round trip circle by car. It was really worth the drive because those beaches really were spectacular. Take the beach shoes. Some are pretty pebbly with coral bits. Good snorkeling venues at all of them.
For the mongerers among us, the destination of choice is Campo Allegre. It is impossible to miss the place. The sign is huge. It is just off the road to the airport about 15 kilometers from town. Drive up the paved road to the humongous parking lot. Your first time entry to the place can be intimidating. Walk through the door of the gatehouse, pay the 10 Guilder entry fee, get frisked by security and enter a garden oasis. Contrary to my preconceived notion of a dusty old military barracks, the place is landscaped with palms and flowers. The buildings seem well maintained. I was impressed. In the center is a large open-air bar area with a stage, nice soft settees and comfy chairs, a couple of pool tables, slot machines, restroom, and change window. They have a little restaurant, for the girls and patrons, that serves pretty good food at a decent price. For those of you like me who don?t drink, it?s cheaper to get your soda by the bottle at the window in the restaurant area. Eat inside or at a table outside.

They claim and have rooms for 150 girls. Not all the rooms were occupied; however, I think that there were over 100 in residence. They also claim shows but don?t count on it. They do have the stage at the bar plus another auxiliary bar and runway amongst the rooms. There?s also an unused gym, a mini-mart for the girls, a small clothing store, telephone banks for local and international calls, and a couple of other auxiliary bar areas. The girl?s rooms have cold showers. Push the button and get 30 seconds of water navy style. You can buy a book of coupons useable for just about anything that also gets you free entry from 6am to 8pm. It would be worth it if you were on the island for some time. Daytime is pretty quiet. The girls are at their rooms or wandering. Red light means, ?I?m busy?. They can go off campus but need to be back by 6pm.

My assessment of the talent available reflects my own definition and scale. I am old; frequently addressed as ?papa? by the girls. If you rent a car via the hotel it is also expensive. Or you can stay in a hotel near the airport ( Airport Hotel) and from there you can walk or take a short taxi drive to the Camp.

A last advice : appearances are deceiving. So most of the times the girls who look better give also a lesser service. So look and observe, even if it takes hours. And in the end you can find a good thing.

I will definitely go back.
