It's hard to believe a city the size of Paris doesn't have more action. I imagine there are several private apartments/clubs that aren't advertised and you need to be a member to know about it. If anyone knows about such places please PM me.

I'm not into the swinger club scene so that's out of the question. I'm not really going expecting to hobby but you never know the mood one will be in.

Any other advice is appreciated.

Paris is the biggest rip-off for P4P. There are plenty high class escort services. You have to pay an arm and leg for all of that. I have no P4P experience in Paris.

However, as a young American, you can have plenty of freebies (or pay in a different way). Dressing well and speaking English will get you in many trend nightclubs. Making sure that girls heard you speaking English when you are in the clubs. Trendy French girls consider speaking English is cool.

I have not been Paris for 2 years. Not sure which nightclub is good now. I used to go to Les Bains Douches (01 48 87 01 80) a lot when I worked in France. Many fashion models go there to party. It was difficult for average French guys to get in. Dressing well is the key. These French know what kind of your clothing you wear, even for a doorman. When you start to talk to a girl, order a bottle of alcohol (always order by bottle). This can easily cost a few hundreds dollars. But, you can have a quite good time and easily get laid. And, don’t drink beer in a club. For French, it is not cool.

For more down-to-earth girls, well, you have to sweet-talking and do a lot of work as everywhere else.

You're painting a somewhat too gloomy picture of central Paris. (BTW, central Paris is where I live.) Much more interesting than rue St. Denis, if you're into quick and dirty sex, that is, are the nearby areas around the metro stations Strasbourg-St.Denis and Republique, as well as the boulevard that connects the two.

The action is dominated by Romanian and Chinese women (also a few French ones of Algerian origins). The Romanians are younger than their colleagues, but they are also the ones that are by far the most prone to trickery. The Chinese women are generally past their prime (30-50 y.o.) but much more likely to make an effort beyond the call of duty. - So here's the big question: does one go for youth or effort?

The minimum price is 30 euros for one pop, and most of the Chinese women stick to this price. Romanians and Arabs often try at 40-50 euros but can be negotiated down on a slow night. To this add around 30 euros to pay for a room in a nearby shabby hotel. In the case of the Chinese you are well adviced to add a gratuity of 10-20 euros upfront; it establishes a "bond of gratitude" (very important in their culture) which brings a GFE within reach. What you call "Romanians" are actually "Romani" gypsys. Romani is an ancient culture (also, FYI, a similar culture is the "Travellers," Irish and English white gypsys), not a nationality. They can be from any country, especially the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Albania, the Balkans, or Bulgaria and including Romania.

However, I think the Chinese girls are cuter and much better to deal with.

Oh, ^#$%$^!! I hadn't though of that, but you are right, of course. I have talked to some of the girls in Bd. Strasbourg and they assured me they were Romanian (no, not Roma, RomaNIAN). I was surprised to find them darker skinned, and dressing somewhat more sloppily, than your average Romanian person, and I also noticed that some of them spoke Turkish (yes really!) to their pimps -- but, hey, there's a Turkish minority in Romania.
