arriving in gz there are 2 options to go to sz:
1. bus departing outside the arrival building every 2 hours, taking 3 hours to sz, 88 y.
2. bus #1 outside of the arrival building to the gz downtown train station, next to china southern office 12y, then take high-speed train gz to sz, 1 hour, 75y. there are trains every hour until late at night.
option 2 takes you to sz faster, though you have to drag the luggage about 300 yards between the china southern office to the train station.
the gz east train station is further east of the main station, about 120y taxi ride to baiyun int airport.

the high-speed train runs up to 200 kmph with no traffic jams. it stops at gz east, dongguan, then direct sz.

Mongering in small towns GZ?
One of my friends is a Chinese business guy in GZ. He's a GZ homeboy but now lives in the US.
He told me he would never monger in big cities like SZ, GZ or Hainan, too dangerous ... He told me it's much better and cheaper to go to smaller factory towns North of GZ by train, where many good-looking factory girls are available.
