Myself, if a girl turned LT to ST, I might take her to the door, point out the 20 meters to the corner, where she could make the turn, walk 5 meters to the MAJOR road, and catch a taxi ANYTIME. But this was a [i]western[/i] suburb, houses and condos, not apartments, safe.

Normally, I make sure the girl gets safely to her destination: either I play taxi, driving her home, or at least to a taxi stand with waiting taxis. Bottom Line: I know I wouldn't like being dumped out in a strange neighborhood here late night, no transportation around, and yet I'd feel safe, if just inconvenienced. Imagine how she felt... Imagine if you were dumped out, late night, in a deserted neighborhood in Kiev (sounds like you don't know it all that well), especially if you don't speak Russian. Would certainly make ME nervous, being an obvious foreigner, probably with money ...

And, there is a bit of self-interest here: the CIA (Chinese Intelligence Agency) always amazed me, quite the network, of who can be trusted to take good care of a girl.

I always play taxi driver. My motto "I bring you I take you back." Its my principal. Several months back I got 2 fili WGs from a provider in Dubai and took them to Abudhabi to a friend's place. Unfortunately 1 of them turned out to be a real spoilsport. Was demanding money (tips) and GFE turned sour real fast. In the end her companian made up for her loss to us. She wanted to get cab fare and go back halfway through the night, however I insisted she came with me so goes back with me. I took them both back before dawn. But then thats just me. However if I get a bad deal from a legit business then I don't stop till I get the service I paid for even if it means going to the CEO of a company. With WGs its just different.

The "Where you stay Dubai?" question works for both: she wants to compute transportation costs, time, and potential problems. I wanted to compute the same, so always asked.

And the "How long you stay Dubai" question also works for both: she wants to know if she can quote you the tourist price, or must she use the resident one. I wanted to figure out any problems on getting her home. I pulled one "fresh off the boat" girl for ST, mainly as it was a weeknight, so EARLY alarm. But secondary consideration was that I could drive her back to the bar where she had friends, and not have to worry about trying to find her apartment at 1am. Years later, both of us still around, and we were reminiscing about our 1st meeting. She laughed and said how my concerns had come true couple of days later. She left with a customer for a ST, managed to take a taxi back to the bus station square, but then spent the next 90 minutes wandering around trying to find which building her apartment was in, everything looking different, colors off, at night.

Bottom line: if she feels comfortable and relaxed, good chance you'll be [i]comfortable[/i] and [i]relaxed[/i].

Even if she came with a good recommendation, it always comes down to how [u]she[/u] is with [u]you[/u]. Just like the stock market: best indication of future performance is past history.

Do remember the time I returned a girl to Deira when the LT was curtailed to ST by mutual agreement. The Mandarin SCREAMING match on her mobile so loud was concerned about my neighbors, she working herself into a rage, so just decided to be civil and drive her home at 4am. I've had a few bad, but a lot more good to great, and some amazing. The amazing ones became regulars, if possible; a Miss Thursday (HATED to go out Thursday night) , or a Miss Friday, until they got better offers, went home, or became a bit complacent. Always had a couple in the [i]bull pen[/i] to replace any in the starting pitching rotation who left.

I was always a bit amazed at the attitudes, [b]NOT[/b] bitter or hostile, to their crap lot in life. Just trying to make the best of it. I don't think I could do the same. NEVER met any who liked the [i]job[/i], just accepted it as a means to an end: improving life back home, buy a house, care for family, education for kids. And not all an ex-factory worker or farmer; seems the Dubai [i]job[/i] also paid better for a school teacher or nurse. Never heard a sad story to extract money; the few who did merely trying to explain the obvious as to why they were here (never thought that she was here because life was so great back home). But most realized that reality did not contribute to the facade, so just left unsaid.

Has anyone noticed that the latest African cohort has some very high pricing expectations? I've had a lot more 'no deal' encounters than ever before and they really seem to believe 1k is the going rate. When its a try on they cave quite quickly but this latest lot digs in.

I think the 'mamasans' are responsible for filling their minds with these unrealistic rates. Possibly so they don't immediately realise how long they are going to be working before they earn anything for themselves.

Case in point, I had two girls refuse the usual rate for a pre arranged meet (which would save them the bar fee. I had collected their numbers while in a bar but not out to play). Then when I did get a very nice lady back (ovbiously new) , it all turned sour. She called her 'boss' to say where she was and mamasan instructed her to leave as the rate wasn't high enough. It could have been a scam, but I hadn't paid anything (I never pay in advance) so I just halved the salary for a STR level. She seemed genuinely upset at the situation (yes, I know they can all act better than Olivier) and she called her boss back to say she would rather stay and earn the full rate. But she was instructed to leave.

Shame really as she was a nice girl and I would definitely have preferred to pay twice as much and have the LTR service.

Ah well, the market will provide the proper education eventually.

Now for an update, went to 49'ers on Tuesday night and it was packed full of woman. It actually had a significant amount of new talent from what I have seen over the past 6 months (I assume a new crop has come in). The woman easily outnumbered the men 3 to 1 that night which I attribute to people on vacation and the hang-over of Ramadan. Had a couple of good conversations. Starting rate for LT was 700 but got a couple down to 400 for the evening. I had to dodge the PRC mafia as I probably have nailed 25% of them in the bar and many wanted a sure thing repeat. Decided on a stan and took her for the evening. Typical had no condoms on her but I had my own stash. Great time to be had and in the morning personally walked her to a cab (although through the public entrance).

Now for an update, went to 49'ers on Tuesday night and it was packed full of woman. The woman easily outnumbered the men 3 to 1 that night which I attribute to people on vacation and the hang-over of Ramadan. Had a couple of good conversations. Starting rate for LT was 700 but got a couple down to 400 for the evening. I had to dodge the PRC mafia as I probably have nailed 25% of them in the bar and many wanted a sure thing repeat. Decided on a stan and took her for the evening. Typical had no condoms on her but I had my own stash. Met a workmate at Rock Bottom Thursday night. I had been there during Eid with my Chinese regular. Neither of us liked the band but they were better last night as long as the female wasn't singing. Anyway I noticed a lot of really good looking ladies in the bar. Mostly CIS with a few African and a few Chinese although sometimes its hard to tell the Chinese from the CIS. I have been fooled before. We had been there for a while and moved closer to the bar when a nice looking CIS showing some nice cleavage came up and started talking. I wasn't planning to take anyone but the beer took over. She started at 800, I offered 700 and she took it. Sorry guys I might have got her down lower but just hate the negotiating. Took her home and as soon as we got there and settled on the couch she asked for the money up front. I told her I would pay her in the morning and she said okay.
