Thanks in advance.[/QUOTE]I believe the place you were thinking of was on Av. Las Magnolias next to Restaurante Dynasty. (Diagonally across the street from Hotel Barcelo, ex-Hilton, ex-Princess). If memory serves, the place started in 1997 as "Tequila Rock", a Mexican disco chain, where the female waitresses would get on the bars and give lucky patrons a shot of tequilas from the bottles they carried around. After a few years, the place transitioned into a new bar called "Jala la Jarra", and the "Cantina de Patron" was the nice Mexican Restaurant upstairs. Later the whole thing was shut down, and it became "La Cantina" for most of 2010's, until some patrons got into an argument, and left the place only to be gunned down a few streets away. In 2018, some investors bought the property and built a huge office building (Edificio Insigne) which stands there today.

Do any of you know if the Sheraton is a good hotel to invite girls to? I know security is pretty tight in San Salvador, so just curious.

Just got back from an enjoyable week. Last time, about 18 months ago, I had sessioned with some chicas, listed as SW's in the east end of World Traveller's map, the 3 SW symbols around Alameda Juan Pablo. As the maps says, they are standing in front of their bedrooms, or, the bars that they have rooms in. You have to pick through them to find those about 5 or 6, (the best you will find there), they charge $7 to $12 for about 15 minutes, but $5 more to completely disrobe. I found another similar area, not yet on the map, on Calle Ruben Dario, between 10 a and 12 a Avenida Sur. I parked up the street from Plaza Zurita. A few real good sessions, if you are of the bargain basement hobbyist type, which I am. But I came across Wanuncios Salvador website, and under their erotic services topic, they have current and precise information on some of the spas, which seem to repeat their ads every day. I went to Venus Spa, which shows on the map as Mr. Spa. It is actually in the building identified as Edificio Montana, down a flight of stairs, with the number 17 on the door. Had about 4-5 chicas, $20 for 20 minutes, similar price for longer sessions. Definitely higher quality than most of the SW's I spoke about above. And prices are similar enough, so that I would skip the SWs next time. Another good spa was Real King Spa, in the exact location as the map shows. I had a memorable session with an 18 year old girl next store type. Did not have good technique, but great body, no belly, and really tight. I wish I could go back to her. Price was 15 for 15 minutes, with $10 more for oral naturale. I didn't have more time to check other spas advertising on Wanuncios, but will look forward to doing so next time I have the opportunity. The 2 spas I went to were in much better neighborhoods than the street walkers.

Finally made the trip to explore Central America.

General information:

* Flight: there are amazing deals that appear randomly from Sprint and Frontier that can be $40 one-way or less. I found one of those. There are tons of flights from many cities in the USA. San Salvador is one of the busiest airports in the region and well-connected. There is an arrival fee to be paid, it was $12, could be paid with a credit card. Overall, the airport is clean and modern, with free wifi, and efficient process.

* Money: they use US dollars, so I brought a wad of cash with me and did not use any local ATMs on this trip.

* Getting to the city: El Salvador has Uber, and with the free wifi available in the airport, I got an Uber ride very easily. The pickup area is just outside and very obvious. It cost me less than $30 for the ride from the airport to Zona Rosa. Which took just under an hour.

* Accommodations: I stayed at a regular cheap hotel in Zona Rosa because that area was described as "safe. " It felt completely safe, I walked around during the day and at night and never felt any weird vibes. There are stores and food and ice cream places around. It's well-situated and clean. There are also massage places within walking distance (though some may take 20-30 minutes of walking).

* Communications: I bought a Claro sim card with $10 of credit. I went to the "official" store inside a shopping center to do it because I wanted to make sure it is activated correctly and it would work in other countries. $10 buys 5 Gb of data, which includes roaming to Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, but NOT Belize. I had good success with the sim card, it worked in most places in El Salvador and in Guatemala, even in some of the remote spots. They wanted to see my passport, otherwise took about 15 minutes for the entire process to happen. Of course, the sim cards are sold at many other places, so if you speak Spanish you don't have to go to the official store. But if you speak Spanish, you know how those things work. I don't, so I want to make sure I don't screw up.

* Food: the pupusas are great.

* Getting around: Uber is easily available, costs a few dollars.

* Girls.

I only went to the "massage" places around the city. Most of them have whatsapp, so I message them, they usually respond with their working hours, prices, and selections.

They all have the standard Central American fattish, short-ish girls.

I went to 2 others but I can't remember which ones. They were basically the same deal.

The unusual were:

- A "tantra / nuru" massage place. A girl gets naked and slides on top of you with her body. Costs $80 HR / $60 45 min / $40 hh. She works in some place that does look like a massage studio, and she does this on top of a massage table. HJ only though, couldn't get her to do anything else. +503 6163 4126.

- A place called Pasion that is a little more expensive but has young and thin girls. It's to the west of the Zona Rosa, just to the south of the roundabout. The taxi will drop you off by a gated community, go through the gate, tell the guard you are going to the salon, and it will be to your left. He will point it out.

It charges $40 hh / $60 45 / $80 HR and also there's an "entry" fee of I think $5 (which includes 1 drink). But the girls here are very very different from the rest. Younger and thinner, some speak some English. And there are more of them, I think I saw about 7 or 8. The one I had was a pretty decent experience, nothing to write home about but she was good to look at and good to do things with. No BBBJ, unfortunately, but still, I enjoyed my 30 minutes.

Also I went to Santa Ana. A small city toward Guatemala; about 2 hours by bus from San Salvador. Chicken bus is about $2 and is an interesting cultural experience. Leaves from Terminal de Buses de Occidente. Get on the bus first, pay inside, no ticket necessary.

Nice colonial town, good food, cheaper than San Salvador.

It has at least two massage places, I checked out only one because it was about 4 minutes from my hotel.

It's on 5 a Avenida Sur. I think they used disappearing messages so I don't have their info anymore. They had 4 girls (and I had all 4 at different times) - normal girl experience, none wanted to do BBBJ. They have $20 for 2 o minutes specials. Which is more than enough for me.

* Conclusion.

El Salvador will do in a pinch.

The other is the intercontinental. I'm sure its possible to sneak by with the girl unnoticed but, I recommend staying elsewhere.
