I like anywhere else in MDE, Carrera 70 and Carrera 80 are two favorites. THere are multitudes of bars and resturants with tables and chairs outside (La 70 is under construction just now, however). On the weekends and even weeknights the local parks are overflowing with cool people and beautiful women hanging out, drinking, talking,and dancing. That's where you will find me, often with my guitar.

Frankly, I avoid the Majorista just because it seems a little extreme to me. But I sure have spent time in the strip clubs in El Centro: Executivo, Maricabo, etc.

Medellin remains the best place I can think of because the people are so interesting and the women so beautiful.

Monday, 6 July 2009, las "casas" tour, Conejitas and all night party! I accompanied a few of my guests, VMonger and friend, on a tour of La Mayorista area and las "casas" in el Centro! Walked up La Mayorista "strip" right down the stairs from My Place at 3:30 PM. At this time all you can see is a few (5-10) of the less attractive girls with maybe a couple doable. When crossing over to Carrefour Las vegas, a 5 stratus area, where myself and 4 "chinos" got robbed over a month ago, I talked to the Metro Police and asked them why didn't they station a police in that alley between Metro Ayura and Ave. Las Vegas. I explained about the robbery. He was appologetic and suggested that I ask ask one of the guards from Metro Ayura to ecort us through the alley after dark.

Facing my fears, since I had not been down that way again since the robbery, we walked down the alley street to Las Vegas. It's not a small alley, actually large trucks go through there all the time and there are venders, but without police right inside it can be used by a "risky" robber to find a target, not often, but it can happen. With adrenaline flowing I was determined to attack and destroy anything that got within a feet of me, but as expected, just a whole bunch of working folks and students walking up and down the street. It was something I had to do to overcome the unfortunate incident. It might never happen there again, but it did happen, and that was once too many. So when in doubt, if it's dark, ask for the Metro police to escort you.

Up and away we went to the "casa" tour after feasting our eyes on all the beautiful girls working in "Carrefour" Las Vegas Supermarket". I took the guys on the normal My Place tour of "las Casas".
