Tired of Street Meat?, or How I always have a good time!
In the dozens of times I have been in Sosua, I have never yet had a bad week. I was there last month, and I'll be there next month. It will be a great week.
Guaranteed!
Early on, I liked what I saw over a few days, and developed a relationship with a former Dominicana semi pro, her family and her island-wide contacts, who has a job (sometimes two) and who lives far away from gringos and tourist resorts.
Some call it "wifing up", I prefer the term "regular".
Wifing up implies you are supporting her when you are not there, but my regular is with me 24/7 when I'm there, and I'm there often enough to make it worth her while not to bug me for money in the meantime. We have actually become very good friends, so there is a little bit of gift giving at Christmas and birthday. The cost is about the same as serial fucking for the week.
I sometimes get there a couple days early, so I can sample the putas. I had maybe two putas over the years who held out for more money than agreed, but even then the sex was great!
But it's not till Princessa shows up after a 10 hour taxi and bus ride, with that big smile on her face, at my local pub manned by her "cousins", with her bags, that my vacation really begins. If she's early she'll come to the airport.
I've taken a lot of shit on this board for believing and writing that you can have such a relationship (you can't trust them, they are all hoes, they'll steal your stuff, and so on) but it seems a more intimate relationship than the slam bam, bait and switch putas, is now being recommended here, even by my former critics :)
Take next month for example. I'm taking a buddy down for a week. My regular has already sent me at least half a dozen photos of chicas for my buddy to choose from, from her own small town. These are personal friends that know how to behave and have a good time. We did the same thing a couple years ago, and it worked out great.
Dominican Republic is what it is.
It's what you make of it that's important.
