Bangkok Reports

Now I have been to almost every gogo bar in Nana and Soi Cowboy but for some reason I always keep coming back here. This reports curtails my first trip to Mandarin.

Its hard to find. Nestled between and 2 floors and the back end of NEP. To get there you have to walk all the way around the second floor, past the hordes of Ladyboys trying to grapple you into their clubs.

So into Mandarin I went. Very Small Place with many girls dancing. This is defo not the Rainbow's or Baccarra's. Its small, quaint and chilled. Mamasans always lurking outside and welcomed me in.

Took a seat. The thing I like about this bar is all the seats are built around the 3 stages. There is no "loner in the corner" type setting where you are far from the girls and can't see their number to call them over and yet too tired, shy or lazy to walk all the way and get their attention, just to come back to your seat when they show no interest or prefer you to a nerdy Jap, ala Rainbow 4.

Ok. Back to Mandarin. Took my seat amidst the gorgeous dancers on stage. Out of all the go-go's I have been to, I truly feel this place has top of the quality babes. Young, fresh and great attitudes. Also the Mamasan is very helpful. She will bring your drink over, and tell you the inside info about the girls. At least for me she did. Who does what and all that good stuff.

They figure you'll probably say no, perhaps opt for ST, and if you do say yes it's well worth it for them. If she quoted you 8000 she did not want you. Many have agendas, meeting friends, etc. Rarely do they have the discipline to do that many short times. Don't take it personally.

Other girls are refusing long time because they cannot sleep in a strange room, and besides their normal sleep hours are 8AM to 3PM. Other girls are refusing LT because guys do not offer enough. Many girls will change their mind if the money is high enough. They may normally be trying to get 3 STs in the evening. You need to get agreement as to what time you want her till as well, and that you are taking LT because you want sex in the morning.

Whether it be bargirls, freelancers or escorts, I've never been a fan of having them sleep over. After the business is concluded I'm perfectly happy for them to leave. Everyone's mileage will vary and all stories are anecdotal, but still interesting of course and may teach us a lesson.

I have no idea what price streetwalkers ask, or what is the going rate of girls in a disco.
