Seem to me you like to socialize in your comfort. There is not a lot of tourist socialization with normal chicas looking to make some extra cash. You will be limited to the Casa and strip clubs. Because these chicas are working for someone in their establishment the service is better. Sosua chicas are mostly independent. No boss means terrible to good service. You are dealing with street chicas after all. It take a little skills, patients and a lot of luck to get a winner. Once you get the hang it smooth. With that being said, I am planing a trip to DR in January with some high school buddies. I have been to Santo Domingo on my own about 3 years ago and had a great time. I was there for about 3-1/2 weeks.

I want to take my buddies to with Puerto Plata, Sosua or Cabarete. I friend of mine who frequents DR quite a bit said I should stay in Cabarete. I concerned there will not be enough talent in this area.

We are looking for top notch ladies. It is there first time in DR and I want it to be a memorable time. What do you guys think? We are planning on renting a luxury home (5 Bedroom).

I would go to Santiago because I know the girls are beautiful there but we are looking for a beach town.

Thanks in advance.[/QUOTE]Cabarete would be fine, but presumably the large 5-bedroom house you are going to rent will be somewhere between Cabarete and Sosua anyway, as there is not much on the other side of Cabarete. If that is the case, it will be within 10 minutes drive of Sosua, where there are all kinds of chicas to be found. With 5 of you, you might want to rent a large SUV or a couple of vehicles to get around, or you can use local taxis or the public taxis, which are very cheap and run all night. As far as "top notch ladies" are concerned, that is all in the eye of the beholder, but beware of Dominican pimps offering "top notch ladies", because they will almost certainly be lower notch ladies with top notch price tags attached.

These girls are NOT high class refined escorts you might find working for agencies in various parts of the US and the rest of the world. They are mostly poorly educated women with little sophistication who are struggling to make ends meet and feed their children in a society where this is little economic opportunity for them, or anybody else. Not saying you can't have a great time there, just make sure you have realistic expectations.

Like the other poster says, stay away from pimps.

My buddy's favorite place to hang out is Meringue Bar at the bottom of the stairs to Classico, and watch the parade. It is always mind boggling for a first timer who is not used to seeing all that beautiful and available cheap pussy all in one place.

For the experienced monger in Sosua, I believe you hone your game and insstincts towards the fresh talent that comes and goes all the time.

Find your own chicas and never pay anything up front. If you find one good chica, and she becomes aware that nothing will happen unless she also finds chicas for your mates, she will soon magic up some "primas" (so-called cousins).

Members here know that I maintain a vendetta against private taxis, but with five guys sharing (or even only three or four sharing) they become the most sensible option, as Dominican taxis charge per mile and not per passenger (although with a group an additional propina would be only fair). If there are indeed five of you, you will need to find a guy with a sizable jeepeta (SUV). Plenty of options. Don't try to negotiate a package for your whole stay, it will only end in tears. Pay the driver as you go.

Don't waste time and money looking for North American style "models" or "porn stars". The DR is for the cheap and cheerful crowd, although some idiots somehow manage to pay through the nose and still leave miserable.

If money is no object and you put a premium on looks, stay in Puerto Plata and draw your chicas from Cristal. Not worth the extra in my opinion, but a hundred dollars to me may be like ten dollars to you if you guys are loaded.

I forgot to mention that I am a seasoned monger. Many countries and many years as well as a few friends that are coming to the trip. I have had great success in Santo Domingo since I am spanish. I met locals and pros. Some top notch.

Since this is my first time in the Puerto Plata / Sosua area I wanted to go to the experts!

I am now thinking about looking for a house in Puerto Plata. We know not to over pay. I would never mess it up for the next guy. I was thinking about a trip to Santiago since the girl there are a little better but we are trying to keep the trip simple.

With that being said, Any recommendations in Puerto Plata besides renting a house that have top accommodations and guest friendly in case we don't go with a house.

I have had success with Dominican cupid as well and might line something up but I don't want to get stuck with girl for entire trip.

Please keep input coming.

[/QUOTE]My advice would be to rent a manson in sosua. Most of the action is going to be in sosua so why not just stay there. Pp is nice but it will be a hassle taking a taxi to the strip everytime and way more convient. If 9's and 10's are what you are looking for crystal in pp or passions in santiago is where its at. To find 9 and 10 models, they are all in the casas and charge $100 for 2 hour take out so it will get very expensive. You can get their numbers and have them come over before they start thier shifts but if your going to be with 4 other people prob be hard to cordinate 5 cases chicas to come over before thier shifts. It is best to stay in sosua and take a taxi to pp or santiago for the day or night. Renting a van and driver for 6 or 8 hours to take you and your friends to santiago would prob cost 150-200 split by 5 people. during the day can be boring if your staying ia a manson in between sosua and pp, sosua is already kinda of boring byitself during the day so imagine staying in a house that is not walking distance to anything. will be quite annoying Try [URL]hispanoliarealestate[/URL] to rent a manson in sosua or pp.

One guy will meet a chica the first day and want to wife up for the rest of the trip, another will feel guilty and be on the phone to his wife or girlfriend in Spain for the whole trip, another will spill the beans back home when someone finds the photos on his cell phone, or he gets Whatapp messages from a DR chica, and so on. That is my two cents worth.[/QUOTE]Sorry if this sounds a little harsh, but I think if it is just a question of catching up with some old high school buddies for a vacation and you want a beach town, you would be better to get a nice place in or near Cabarete, where there are great beaches, windsurfing galore, some quite good restaurants on the beach, and so on and use that as your base, then go on some trips and excursions as the mood takes you, golfing if that is what you want, and just keep the mongering low key and let each guy decides what he wants to do in the evenings. Mongering is too personal a thing to work well as a group activity. If you are going in January, you need to get your accommodations sorted out pretty soon. There are not many large houses available for short term rent in Puerto Plata, and even then you might have to be careful about upsetting neighbours etc. Ideally you might want to find a large walled villa in a subdivision where the buildings are not too close and the neighbors not too nosy and the landlord or rental agent not too intrusive. You are also perhaps going to have to think about things like housekeepers or even a cook if you are staying for any length of time.

I am in agreement that it would probably be a good thing to be close to Sosua, but both Cabarete and Puerto Plata are close to Sosua.
