You'll see when you get there that you have no worries. Walking away from Casa Cayena, you'll stumble by a hotel every ten feet. Plenty of places to stay right in the middle of things.

Wilfred is a stand-up guy, very dependable. In the Dominican Republic cash is king, especially American dollars. The places that do accept online payment, or do reservations through booking sites, usually charge a higher rate through the online service. An example, booked a place in San Pedro de Macoris through [URL]booking.Com[/URL]. Rate was listed at $69. When I arrived was charged $40 until they found out about the reservation.

I'm all packed and ready! 1 more day then the fun begins. I'm bringing the professional camera, so hopefully I can bring back some quality pics and video for you guys.

So lets talk current prices, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so if YOU met a girl who was a perfect 10 to you in all her physical attributes, what is the max you would pay for her? I'm trying to get an idea of the price bargaining points. I know every girl has her own price, but what's the "tourist" price, and what's the reasonable price for a girl like this?

Also, what are the current best spots? Massage parlors, brothels, strip clubs, nightclubs, etc? How is the Sosua game played? Do I just walk the street, hit a bar, or strip club?

Sorry for so many questions, I'm Googling and cramming info day in and day out as much as possible since this trip was so last minute. A week ago I didn't even know all of this was legal in the DR LOL. Thanks again.

Wilfried will not allow loud music due to the nature of the layout, acoustics if the place and most importantly, past history of loud music guests at the hotel. I know Wilfried and have stayed there a lot and I can tell you this with high confidence. He might ask you to leave or turn down the music. He lives there too and does not take any bullshit. This has happened before.

IMO, you will be better off with an apartment. More freedom and more privacy. Particularly given 7 day trip.

1 Pricing the girls cost 1500 to 2500 to for short term 2 hours. 3000 to 5000 all night. This should cover the gambit of quality.

2 read the forum it has all the info you could want. Two main night time spots. Rumbas open air bar starts late afternoon until about 9 pm. Plenty of girls but not the hottest. Good spot to start you night and sometimes you get a gem. The second spot is Classico. It is an upstairs disco. 200 pesos to get in and the girls come dressed to make money. 100 or more girls most 7 or better. Loud music but the first time you see it your mind will be blown.

3. The action is in a half a block area. 10 or 15 other small bars with a little action.

4 The place has decent places eat. Baileys is my favorite.

5. The place is full of guys enjoying the same activities and more experience then you.

That might explain why Wilfried only has rooms for earlier in the week. Grab something when you arrive and set a tone for yourself because all the girls will be in hustle mode for that event on the weekend. Expect inflation for the weekend as the NY and Miami boys come in jacking the prices up.

There's no strip clubs or brothels, but no worries. Step put the front door of Casa Cayena and turn right. If you turn left a very short walk will take you to the little semi-private beach. After you turn right, first landmark is Hotel El Rancho. Good spot for lunch, several waitresses who tend to flirt.

Just past is the laundry, just drop off in the morning and pick up your clean clothes in the afternoon. A few doors further is the first massage spot, 1 hour for 600 pesos, but they charge 1000 more for extra service.

Next you'll come to Dr. Aleja Martinez Drive. If you turn right you'll find Baileys, good restaurant, service can be spotty. That's also the route to the main beach. Just follow the signs to Playa Sosua.

If you're headed for the action, just keep going straight across Dr. Martinez. A short walk and you'll see a Colma do on the left, a small grocery store, good place to pick up some bottled water (a necessity). Next you'll see Rocky's. Decent food, nice quiet spot for a beer.

The next intersection is ground zero. On the left is Chez Mon Real. Good spot for food, drink and to watch hockey, if you watch hockey. It's also a good place to just watch the people. Diagonal from there is Rumbas. It will be packed with chicas at night. That's the main spot until late night. Just say no until someone gives you a reason to say yes.

Across the street is Classicos, which doesn't really get going until late at night. There are several little food and drink places both directions down the street. In most of them you may encounter chicas, you'll definitely encounter them on the street.

Things to watch out for:

A lot of the women on the street will try to grab you and grope you. At least some of them may try to pick your pocket.

Always verify prices before. This is true for taxis and chicas. Prices for both are negotiable.

Only carry the money you need. Keep the rest along with any other valuables locked in the room safe.

Pay the chicas after the deed, not before.

Stick with bottled water. The local beer, Presidente, is decent and cheap.

Don't buy the blue pills from the guys selling Viagra on the street. If you want them, just go to the pharmacy and ask, they're cheap and no prescription required.

You'll see when you get there, it's just a small town. Check it out and enjoy.

My goal is definitely not to spend more than I have to LOL. I was literally lecturing the guys yesterday on how you guys on the forum hate when people drive up the price of pussy. A lot of people in Sosua do not want their photographs to be taken without permission, and especially chicas in the room. If you want to take photographs, whether dressed or nude, or videos of the same, make sure in advance that the person involved is agreeable. Do not be surprised if you are asked for more money for photography. Some people have reported that girls they were with had no objection to photos, which is fine, but mileage may vary a lot on this topic.

Anyway, as a general point, I would focus more on the experience in the here and now than on making photographic records for posterity. Remember that you are in an intimate one-on-one relationship with an individual, so try to focus on her experience as well as your own.


If you are into photography there are plenty of interesting noncontroversial subjects for your camera, but just note that for some reason Sosua is designated as a "military zone" and you should not try to take photos of anything related to security, including police officers.

No matter how well you try to word it to not offend anyone LOL. I honestly have no interest in photography and would never photograph or video the person without them knowing, that's against my moral code. I was just going to do it for the community here, I'd much rather live in the moment and enjoy it cause that's the kinda person I am. And I wouldn't post face pics. I'm not interested in frat parties, just a little Bluetooth speaker to play some music is all I meant. Ill keep it low since I have a hotel now instead of apartment, no problem. In Brazil the girls enjoyed coming back, having a drink, talking and dancing, etc. I'm just going off my past experiences here, I'm in no way an expert on any of this.

I'm just trying to do it the right way guys. I'm not the obnoxious butthole coming down to throw a wild party, pay high prices and ruin everything. Quite the opposite, I'm very nervous more than anything to be going at this solo. So I'm just trying to get as much info as possible.
