Nobody in his right mind walks around drinking & barhopping with 50 K sticking out of his pocket. It's just asking for trouble. On the other hand, I have initially enjoyed reading Monkeypaw's tongue in cheek posts because I didn't take him too literally. I think his posts form a humorous counterweight to the "I never pay more that 1000 baht for hot young girls" posts one sees on the forum. At least Monkeypaw posts pictures of his girls. I don't know if his pics are genuine or not, but I find some of his girls are attractive and I like that. Time will tell if Monkeypaw is real or not.

I really appreciate you "voice of reason" on the forum. I too had similar opinions about MP initially, but when this attitude shows up post after post, on thread after thread, one starts to wonder. A picture speaks a 1000 words, yes. But then in the age of the internet, anyone can rake up half a dozen pictures of hot looking girls from a a variety of sources and claim them to be "my girls". A few posts back, MP also suggests that anyone making a post here without a picture is is a fiction writer. Now that is just plain immature. Now, that said if you take the time to browse through MP's post history, he does have some pics of good looking girls, presumably in his room. Good for him.

As for the money, there are plenty of guys in Thailand who blow that sort of money. The Japs and Koreans do it to show their status among their friends. If they have it let them flaunt it. But to do that only to humiliate WGs is sick.

I do not have a dog in the fight, but I did go out with Rocky after he said he went out with MP. What Rocky told me pretty much lines up with the same shit MP posts about. Rocky said it was too much for him for he is a rather simple guy like myself. If that is his lane and that is what he enjoys then so be it. Personally I do not see the purpose of going above and beyond and think you are doing something special, when another punter can come in and get the same pussy for list price. Yes, I have no doubt every word of that is true. I would argue it is almost impossible for it not to be true of virtually anyone willing to do it that way even if they just tumbled out onto the airport tarmac on their first visit to Thailand yesterday.

Not to stir trouble of take sides, but I do like reading the tale of how Rocky became king of the hill in bargain hunting over ME (sorry ME), even though there were no follow up reports.

As for the games MP plays, girls play that all the time. Even pros. In a way it is nice to see it come around. I often want to step in tell some of the young guys to dump the girl they are with because of all the manipulative mind games.

As others pointed out, picture is worth 1000 words. I took a side trip and went to some of the bars mentioned in MP's post. Did not have much time but the cast of characters appear to match some in the pictures. So who knows. It is not really a big deal for me as it is the reading that is more entertaining.

Here's my take. When a member decides he is going to create controversy with admittedly interesting but outlandish tales it begs the question why. As an observer of the human condition I suggest it's to be noticed and talked about which is exactly what this post is doing. It's a sad condition born out of low self esteem which may require therapy but fortunately for those afflicted it's relatively harmless.
