Southern Thai food was very foreign tasting to me at first, but after my second meal of Gaeng Luang and Kua Kling, I was hooked. A great place for South food is Janhom on Ramkhamhaeng 21. Really good and not so expensive, but be warned, the spiciest food you will ever eat.

We should have some ISG food meetups!

I bet the ISG members who know the Bangkok restaurant scene well could assemble an interesting array of restaurants unknown to casual visitors. It would be interesting to see how sexual and culinary appetites relate.

For reference, a king size bed in N. America is 192cm wide, plenty of room for three. I guess these super king beds could accommodate five. I've never done it with another guy in the mix. One was ridiculously over priced with entertainment too loud to be able to talk, another I got food poisoning. Seriously I don't recommend that. You don't want to go Japanese unless she confirms she likes Japanese. Many Thais are completely mystified by real Japanese food. My favourite Japanese is Toaya in Sukumvit Soi 33/1 behind the Villa Markt (closed Tuesdays). Better quality than most without being too pricey. Many "Japanese restaurants" are not that close to the real Japanese food too and therefore do not get Japanese customers.

O.K. I see now I am posting too late. Its still a god Japanese place I recommended.
