These sites seem to have a disproportionate amount of girls from Camaguey, which doesn't make sense to me. Also, a lot of photos seem to be taken in the same living room. It makes me suspicious (although everything in Cuba makes me suspicious) that someone is trying to scam foreigners with fake profiles.

Has anyone had any experiences with girls on these sites asking them to send money before you meet them in person?

Is it better to book Casas in Havana ahead of time online (is that even possible) or just get them on the spot when I get down there and let some locals try to show me some?

I'd recommend trying to book 2 o 3 in the same area for a couple of days. When you get there, a lot of times they have rent out your room even though you had a reservation. This way you will have a nearby alternative.

After you are settled, you can try to find something nicer and/or cheaper.

I wouldn't want the stress of not having somewhere to stay when I first arrive.

Of course, I assume someone here has some reliable places to stay that they can recommend. I don't have any details with me currently.

You'll never be wanting for a casa in Havana, as there's always something. I have a few if you want to pm me.

Fact remains there just aren't many places, at least in Havana that you can go to a bar and pick up a random girl to fuck that won't ask you for money at some point.

The primary reason is that these bars with the good music etc.. are packed with putas already. Soft or hard, they're there. They all talk to each other.

The "moral compass" that exists in most of Latin America regarding sex and money as a joint venture isn't present in Havana.

So in the midst of all the girls in the disco who are looking for money, you're looking for the one who still wants to fuck someone that night, but wants to take the night off from the money part...

It's not personal, it's just the dynamic of Cuba...
