I thought weed of moderate amounts was legal or decriminalized in Colombia. No one seems to be trying to hide it.
They have decriminalized up to 20 g of pot and 1 g of coke. But that is not the same as legalized so they can still hassle you if they want.
"Drug use is prohibited by the constitution, and there are laws banning it in certain specific circumstances, but it is not a criminal offence. Possession of the quantity of a drug permitted for personal use is not a crime. Law 30 of 1986, article 2, clause j says that "The dose for personal use is defined as a quantity of marijuana not exceeding twenty (20) grams; a quantity of hashish not exceeding five (5) grams; a quantity of cocaine or any cocaine-based substance not exceeding one (1) gram, and a quantity of methaqualone not exceeding two (2) grams."
"Even though both the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court have made it clear that possession of the minimum dose is not a criminal offence, and despite the fact that the 2009 reform only mentions administrative sanctions, police officers on the street may apply repressive measures if they decide to take action against someone found in possession of a minimum amount, especially if that person belongs to a disadvantaged sector of society."

You can now PM me if you need phone numbers of girls that I can vouch for. I will be in Medellin every week of May, have fun fellows. I won't be particularly in Centro, but I won't be more than 30 minutes away. Feel free to PM if you need a number. Pollonegro is out!
It's as I thought then, cripa and polvo are decriminalized. The bit about "repressive measures" seems subjective to me, even though it lines up with the original post about the Lleras luncheon with the prepago and her mother. "druglawreform.info" might not be the most authoritative information source but the logic feels right.
Colombia is relatively tolerant of the game when it's played quietly and when it's contained in marginal zones like Centro and Mayorista. You don't see "no to sex tourism" signage in those areas. I've said this before, I don't personally agree with guys pawing on chicas around couples and families having a night out. I'm not at all suggesting that is what led to ColombiaLover's misadventure. The police are seemingly under orders to discourage anything that even looks like it.
Hey guys,
Trying to figure out what is the deal with picking up girls in Parque Lleras bars and clubs? My Spanish is pretty bad, so will be relying on google translator.
Can I just walk up to the girls and check if they want to spend the night with me if I pay them?
Any bars / clubs you would recommend where the probability that the girl is a working girl (and not with a boyfriend there)?
Can't figure out how to PM on this site. Just wondering how it went? I will be in a similar situation when I go there in August.

LOL, I didn't even know Quaalude's were still even a thing! For you youngsters Quaalude's are a sedative and hypnotic medication, popular as a recreational drug and club drug in the late 1960's and 1970's.
The standard one tablet adult dose of Quaalude was 300 MG and a dose of 8000 MG is lethal and a dose as little as 2000 MG could induce a coma if taken with an alcoholic beverage, the drug was discontinued in the United States in 1985, mainly due to its psychological addictiveness and recreational use.
Will any members of this site be in Medellin April 25th-30th?
Yes sir, I will be there April 28-May 4. My Spanish is fairly poor LOL, def would like to join forces.
Carrera 74 # 49-101.
Went in around 1130 am. A lot of ladies to choose from, from 5's all the way to 10's. Picked a petite with gorgeous body (Maria Jose 23 yrs). Payed the house fee of 150 K COP for the hour and it was totally worth it. Skipped the lousy massage and off we went to have some fun. We did a little bit of everything and truly had a good time. Finished with her digits in case I want to meet up again. Overall pretty good experience for a reasonable price. Would go again.
Carrera 45 D No. 57-67.
My first casa of Medellin. Went at around 2 pm and just casually went in. A lot of chicas but mainly 5's-7's. Picked up another skinny petite (Allyson 22 yrs) that seemed quite doable. Payed the fee of 78 K COP for the hour and off to the room. Had a pleasant time. But. No fan and no air conditioner in rooms. It was very hot in there. Had a shower so that was good for me. Once we finished our session, I left her a 30 K COP tip. This casa is more of a, I would go if there is nothing else casa. This was my first casa so I'm pretty sure they saw the money sign above my head. I would like to dabble more in the Medellin casas as I want to try a little bit of everything. LOL.

Please don't give a 40% tip to any girl unless she gave you extras along with really good service. You ruin things for other mongers because it causes the girls to expect tips from foreigners, when the locals don't tip them. And unless prices have gone up dramatically in recent years, you paid too much for service in what you describe as a "more of a, I would go if there is nothing else casa". If its not that good, then don't pay up and tip as if it was. Yes, we know you can afford to, most of us can. But, that is no reason for it.
Now, I don't mean to suggest you be a cheapskate. But, don't be a rich gringo either. That's what ruins things for the rest of us. Cambodia and the DR are often cited as examples of cheap mongering destinations that were ruined by "rich foreigners" who overpaid just because they could. In Thailand and in Bali, at least, there is a different pricing tier for locals and foreigners. How did you think that happened? Because guys like you made it clear that paying the established going rate wasn't enough for you to pay.
I admit I only have been to Medellin once, but in my limited experience I had already encountered casa girls thinking they were entitled to a tip because I was a gringo. One extended her palm and gave me the sad eyed look after very ineffectual service. Another who did at least give me more enthusiastic service got upset because the tip I gave her didn't meet her expectations. She got on a real Dominican level with me, and it ruined the otherwise good experience. Now, I am pretty certain they wouldn't pull that shit with a local guy and do remember, these places are there to service the local guys. So, why would they start to grovel for a tip from a gringo?
I'm not trying to beat you up on this, but you won't get any respect on this forum by telling how your threw money around in Medellin. Nor will you get any respect from the girls for being too generous. Instead, it only makes them more contemptuous towards all of us.
30 K is a very generous tip.

I've sat in there drinking beer and heard the same prices quoted to gringos and locals. Nobody overcharged him.
Yes, 30 k is a big tip, but where was your outrage for all the guys paying an extra 50 k for BBBJ? If a casa girl gives me a good session, I've got no problem giving her an extra 20 k and getting her number. The tip has no effect whatsoever on any other gringo because it happens after the session. She might expect a tip when it's over, but it's too late for her to do anything about it.
However, stopping in the middle of a session to pay an extra 40 - 50 k for a BBBJ, when the whole session probably costs less, fucks it up for everyone. After that every BJ involves negotiations.
