There are girls here also that can be had with as little as 50 and 60, but most commonly 80 on a slow day. That scenario also plays out well between 930 to 1030 in the morning when the girls are trying to scrape up the next day's rent for hotel room.

What would be the workflow or common practice in order for an American to get the girl into his hotel room? I have a medical condition which doesn't allow me to eat or drink at common areas so brothels are ideal for me. The room structure at Boys Town was idea because it was like shopping at a grocery store. I remember that during the day or early evening, in the old days, I could walk into la herradura and have girls presented for to choose from. LOL I will never forget that one day I actually chose the last girl they presented because she had the biggest ghetto booty which I love.

But the logistics of getting back from Boystown are not ideal. As far as getting a girl back to your hotel, as long as it is in centro area, no problem, just ask how much they want, then make a counter offer, come to agreement and off you go, same as it has always been.

What hotel would you recommend that is girl friendly? Does one have to worry about scams or setups? Do they hang out in the streets or in a club and is there any club that needs to be avoided? I don't recommend hotels, and I don't know one that isn't girl friendly. I can tell you where several guys that I know, and I, would stay. But it's not a recommendation, some guys don't like it at all. But, the Fiesta downtown, it is close to where the girls are and all are familiar with it.

The "war" is still ongoing, shootings almost daily, mainly late at night, and away from centro. I have phone numbers of trusted and secure taxis, but most all taxis are good, stay away form the ones with older cars, some of those guys are shady. If you need to go to Walmart for food supplies, Soriana, S-Mart, or HEB are just as good or better. There is a small food mart close to the bridge, called Argentina, plus many fruit-vegetable stores in centro, but all close early.

It is only a few blocks from the action. It's 500 pesos a night or like $28 US. I also convert some US to pesos when I cross over and pay in pesos to the motel.

Girls can be found pretty much anytime from afternoon until about 3 am.

I usually keep them in the $40 price range. As mentioned they start out at $100 which is insane but quickly go down. I paid $60 a couple weeks ago for a young lady from Monterey that was smoking hot and spoke nice English.

I don't speak Spanish at all but they all understand prices.

If you go up close to the Hotel Regis after dark expect to find transvestites. If that's not your thing look for girls around Emiliano's a block from the bridge.

A couple weeks ago 2 girls tried to steal from the register and lots of police showed up. Lots of Americans outside as the bar had just closed and no problems at all for any of us looking on. You can often find Americans drinking at this bar and it seems to be the hang out of the working girls also. Some hotties can be found going in and out all day.

Everyone has their preference for their own reasons. Matamoros also has short time rooms, but 250 pesos for 2 hours is a bit steep. The cheap short time rooms are in terrible condition and, as expected, dirty, most with no running water or nearly inoperable plumbing. My preference is Fiesta, at one point, several years ago, I stayed there for 10 consecutive nights. The cleaning ladies still remember me.

I was going to head to NL Friday but with the thunderstorms planned for Friday I figured I would come tonight instead. I popped across the border on a Thursday a few weeks ago and Thursday was at least as busy as Friday to me so I figured why not.

Maybe if the storms pass I'll stay two nights.

I have been parking at the parking garage above greyhound and walking across. Does anyone have any better suggestions?

I have global entry / sentri but don't feel like driving across.

I guess things have changed some since about 10 years ago when I was there. I arrived one night and I felt harassed by some locals because they were saying things like, "look another victim" or some shit. I hear there are allot of truckers that still go down there. I know truckers are a favorite among st Mexican girls. Maybe it could be compared to the military in the USA as many girls like military guys because they seem to be stable and well groomed. I am an engineer LOL. I stand out like a soar thumb but I think people will respect me if I go. So can I assume that it legal to pick up street walkers or does one have to buy them a drink first? I can't drink so I would just want to make a deal right away if I like the girl. But I guess they like to huddle up indoors, especially if they are really attractive? Wish I was there!
