829 is the newer area code for the DR. It is "overlaid" on the 809 area code, meaning both area codes service the same land area.
Just dial 1 and 829 and the regular number. A lot of the new cell phones are coming out with 829 area code.

Stay at New Garden or Europa as a newbie,, I like Europa because they treat me well over there but the new thing these days in New Garden, Budget $200-$250 day pending on what kind of deal you negotiate and how many times a day you like to bang.. Find girls ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE, hit the beach in the day, Hit PASSIONS in the late afternoon, at night just hit Pedro Clisante blvd its only like a mile long and find girls in every spot, especially in Classicos and Latinos at night,, then after hours hit the casino or there is also a new after hours disco in town I heard of as well but I dont know the name of it..RENTING A CAR IS NOT NECESSARY rent a scooter or take a motoconch.. motortaxi.. That is a total budget. Including food, drinks, and chicas depending on how much you drink and how much you like to get laid, including the $45-$55 night per room. I think thats about right.

Alex - There is a Sosua specific hotels thread containing a list of all the possible girl friendly places you can stay. Go check it out... it will save you losts of time and answer most questions.
Trash talking the owner of NG is not a good thing. Black Sultan and other members like myself have been well taken care of by the owner and others who work at NG in April. When I see the owner bring his family to the hotel for dinner in the evening and then hear your trash, I tend to get upset. Too bad we can't meet and discuss and have lunch, I am 6'5' weigh in at 360 lbs, the Black Sultan is the same height and weighs slightly less (he knows me by aka Bubba). You could turn into an Oreo at lunch walking away chewing gum from your culo. Just kidding.

he club is located in the new casino building right by Sosua Bay Hotel. When I was there in January it was not open but when I returned in March it was operating. When Classico's closes down at roughly 2 AM many of the girls and guys who have not hooked up head over there. From Classico's you walk towards the beach on the main drag, past PJ's and past the walkway down to the beach. It's in the new big building on the right hand side of the street. I think the club is on the second floor if I remember right. You can't miss it. Never did check it out as I was either too tired or had found some company by that time. Anybody else been there? Would like to hear some reports.

When leaving Classicos, make a right and walk straight, you will reach an intersection, with a corner bar, and the small grocery store across the street, (where the money changers are during the day) continue to walk straight, at the next intersection you will see the taxi stand and another bar on the left, used to be voodoo lounge, now it has a different name, walk up the road, After One is on the right, up some steps, large new building, behind it is the sosua bay hotel. They charge to enter, they will wrap a band around your wrist. They usually use the same color band everyday, so if you leave it on, you can probably enter for free the next night.
This disco has two dance floors, sort of, one near the entrance and one towards the rear. Towards the rear they have an elevated section, with two levels from where you can perch and look down at that the other people in the disco.
Bathroom are located outside of the disco down one flight of stairs.
